I booked 7 days parking at East Midlands Airport but as I had to go to hospital whilst on holiday I was 2 days late. Upon my return I went to pay the additional 2 days but the guy on the intercom told me he could not charge extra for me being in hospital so let me out without extra charge. Fantastic service and very thoughtful.

Booking easy. Getting into and out of car park went smoothly. Driver was stationery at bus stop when we walked up but he drove off without letting us on! Not enough parking spaces though as cars were parked too close together risking damage. I couldn’t get into the drivers side, had to access through passenger side and climb over so really not sure how the person in the other car got out of theirs.

We were booked into a car park that was non operational, then discovered which park to use. On our return the camera did not recognize my vrm and l was holding the queue up whilst l sought help. Terrible organization for a simple operation.

Extreme disappointment in the recent experience. Received email stating the Jet 1 car par booked was closed and the reservation was changed to long stay 1 at East Midlands Airport. However, it was not the case. I was stuck in a queue at that car park entry and had to negotiate a series of stressful dialogues to enter and exit without fees,

The car park is full of gravel. It damaged one of my suitcase wheels. Could have been better, for the money that I spent on the car park.

Going in and finding a space was no problem and getting on the shuttle bus was no problem but after landing and getting on the shuttle bus the bus driver didn’t tell us the car park we were at so we nearly missed our stop and trying to leave the car park at the barrier was trouble because they wanted a token? or pass card? and of course we had nether because we booked online,so had to get the attention of the person who was on duty and to make it even more embarrassing with a line of vehicles behind us and waiting to get out the camera could not read our number plate? but the woman on duty was very helpful and patient.

On arrival back to East Midlands we queued at the bus stop to go for our car only to be told by a member of staff the bus had stopped running at midnight so we had to walk a mile for our car ????

The member of staff I had communicated with was really helpful on both occasions. The first occasion was due to the airline bringing the flight forward and the second due to the machine not dispensing a ticket to enable my exit when I returned. All on all really satisfied so will definitely use this service again.

Our booking was moved from Long Mid stay 3 at East Midlands. It is quite a walk from the arrivals area especially in the rain ! Its ok saying that the airport says that its a 6 - 7 minute walk but that can only be a very brisk walk to departures without dragging luggage and parking as close to the path as possible !! And we are fit and able 50 year olds. NOTE. From the notices in the airport it seems that the transit buses are no longer running - but transport can be arranged by visiting somewhere the WHSmith shop in arrivals
