Bmibaby has recently added winter routes to the Cardiff airport flight plan,they say that this is phase two of its winter programme. The new flights include a route to Barcelona plus increased frequencies to Belfast and Glasgow international. The flights will be available from 26th October 2008 until 28th march 2009.

Due to increasing consumer demand flights have been increased on key domestic routes to Belfast international and Glasgow international. Bmi baby will now be offering double daily flights to Belfast during the week, versus one flight per day last winter, plus eight flights a week to Glasgow. The airline will also offer 13 flights per week to Edinburgh.

During the winter bmibaby will fly to a total of 13 European destinations, these destinations are as follows - Alicante, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Belfast international, Edinburgh, Faro, Geneva, Glasgow international, Jersey, Malaga, Murcia, Palma and Warsaw.
