Park yourself in a Radisson room
With nearly 900 rooms and a staggering seven miles of corridor, the Radisson Heathrow hotel is one of the largest on the strip along Bath Road. And, unlike many smaller hotels in the area, if youre looking for a family room, youre highly unlikely to find theyre all booked since the hotel boasts 121 rooms for a four-person family.
Theres a range of rooms to choose from, with size being the determining factor. There are nearly 500 standard rooms of between 17 to 23 square metres, and a queen size or twin bed option. Family rooms consist of a twin or single sofa bed, coupled with a queen sized double, or, if you prefer, two queen sized double beds. The rooms are between 23 and 27 square metres.
If you prefer more space, upgrade to an executive room which measures 35 square metres. There are 268 of these business-friendly rooms which include free, high-speed wifi access, a full English breakfast in the morning, a pay movie in your room, plus a desk and entrance area.
Alternatively there are 10 suites which can accommodate two adults and two children and measure a luxurious 70 metres squared. These rooms enjoy a separate living and dressing room as well as king-sized beds and the option of a further roll-away bed, plus all the extras of the Business option.
Cots are available on request. You can also make use of 24-hour room service, housekeeping and valet service.
All rooms are bright and modern with tea and coffee making facilities with biscuits and a fridge, hairdryer, flat screen TV, paid internet access, the option of paid movie channels, and a safe. Executive rooms include bathrobes. Rooms are spotlessly clean, if a little tired in places. Its not high end luxury, but it is four star and with all the amazing extra facilities, the Radisson is a great place to rest for the night and rest you will as all the rooms have triple glazing ensuring the planes are a distant memory until you step outside the front door.
