What's included in my Chessington holiday from Holiday Extras Breaks

The total cost of your Chessington short break includes your park tickets with entrance to the Chessington Zoo and SEA LIFE centre, a hotel stay and breakfast (included at all hotels unless otherwise stated).

Does Chessington have a Resort Hotel?

Yes, Chessington is home to two amazing Resort Hotels; the Chessington Safari Hotel and the Chessington Azteca Hotel

How do I book just Chessington tickets?

To book Chessington tickets without a hotel stay, please visit Chessinton's website.

I have Chessington vouchers, can I use these when booking my Chessington short break with Holiday Extras Breaks?

No, we do not accept any promotional ticket-only Chessington vouchers. To use these, you would need to pay locally at Chessington.

What is the cheapest time of year to visit Chessington?

Our prices vary depending on the time of year. Prices are often lower if you book your break outside of the school holidays and other peak times. Keep an eye out for our Chessington deals and offers.

What should I do if I experience problems booking my Chessington break online?

If you're having difficulty booking your Chessington family adventure online, please call our Customer Experience Team on 0800 093 2547.

How will I receive my Chessington World of Adventures tickets?

Your Chessington tickets will be attached to your email booking confirmation which will be sent to the email addressed supplied when booking. Your Chessington tickets will be attached as a PDF and you will need to print them out and present them at the entrance to Chessington.

I don't have an email address. How will I receive my Chessington booking confirmation?

If you don't have an email address, please call our Customer Experience Team on 0800 093 2547 and we will arrange for your booking confirmation and Chessington tickets to be posted to you.

What should I do if I have not received my Chessington booking confirmation?

If your haven't received your booking confirmation 24 hours after making your booking, please call our Customer Experience Team on 0800 093 2547 and we will send it to you again.

I am unable to print my Chessington tickets. What should I do?

If you have trouble printing your Chessington tickets, please call our Customer Experience Team on 0800 093 2547 and we will arrange for your booking confirmation and tickets to be posted to you.

Is my personal information protected?

All of the personal information you provide when booking is protected by a secure server software layer SSL (Secure Socket Layers). This means it's impossible for anyone to access this information as it is fully encrypted. A firewall is also in place to protect information from the internet. We will never ask for your PIN number and live records of your personal details and card information is not retained on our web servers after your transaction has completed. Your personal details and card information will never be shared with any other organisation or company.

Payment Questions


Why has the price of my Chessington family break increased since my first search?

As we work on a live system, the prices of our Chessington packages can change depending on availability. The price of your Chessington holiday will be confirmed at the time of booking, but it may change if you do not confirm your booking straight away. All of our prices are subject to change and availability.

How can I pay for my Chessington holiday?

We accept Visa, Visa Debit (Delta), Visa Electron and MasterCard. Full payment will be taken once you have entered your credit or debit card details at the payment stage. Please be aware that credit cards are subject to a non-refundable charge. We are unable to accept personal cheques.

Will I be charged any additional booking fees?

No, we do not charge any additional booking fees. Please be aware that credit cards are subject to a non-refundable surcharge.

Why am I being charged a credit card fee?

Credit card companies charge a fee when you pay with one of their cards, and therefore an additional charge of 2% of the total amount is incurred. This is a non-refundable charge of a minimum amount of £1.50 and a maximum amount of £19.95. Paying by credit / charge card confirms you accept this additional charge. No charge applies to payments via debit card.

Do you offer cancellation protection?

We do not offer cancellation protection.

What do I do if I need to cancel my booking?

Should you need to cancel your Chessington short break, please contact our Customer Experience Team on 0800 093 2547. An administration fee of £15.00 per room per night applies to cancellations.

What is your refund policy?

No refunds will be made for cancellations made within 24 hours of the date of your entrance to the park, within 24 hours or after of the date of your hotel stay, or for part-used stays. For all other cancellations an administration fee of £15.00 per room per night will be charged.

Can I change a name on my booking?

Yes, please call our Customer Experience Team on 0800 093 2547 to change a name on your booking.

Can I amend my booking?

Please contact our Customer Experience Team on 0800 093 2547 as soon as possible and we will do our best to cancel your existing booking and rebook to match your requirements. Please be aware we cannot guarantee availability and the price of your new Chessington package may be different to your original one. Any amendments made within 24 hours of the date of your park entry or hotel stay will be treated as a cancellation and charges will apply.
