At Short Stay Premium simply park up, keep hold of your keys and head straight to check-in - you'll be there in 1-4 minutes. As an official Stansted airport car park you can expect top notch security for your car including CCTV, entry and exit barriers and regular staff patrols.

Arrival at S

Go to the Red Zone car park and drive to the barrier. Your number plate should be automatically recognised, but if not press the assistance button and speak to a member of the team.

Once the barrier has risen, drive through and park in any space. Make a note of the zone and row, keep your keys, then take the short walk to the terminal.

Getting to and from Stansted airport

Arriving at the airport

Drive up to the barrier – your number plate will be recognised and the barrier will lift automatically. Just head in and park in any space. You take your keys with you, too. It's a short 1 to 4-minute walk to the terminal from the car park.

Returning to the airport

When you get back, walk to the car park, grab your car, and drive to the exit. The barrier will lift on its own.

On your return to S

Drive up to the exit barrier. If your number plate was recognised on the way in, the barrier will rise automatically on your way out. If you were issued a ticket on your arrival, insert it into the machine next to the barrier, which will raise to let you out.

If you have any problems, press the help button to talk to the car park's team. Do not insert your credit or debit card as you may be charged again.

More information

Early or late? The car park offers a grace period of 6 hours at their discretion. Any longer than this and you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £67 per day, which is subject to change.

Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles) will be accepted at the car park as long as they fit in a standard-size parking bay (2.4m x 4.8m).

Our prices are lower than what you'd usually pay at the airport, but the shortest stay we offer is 24 hours. If you're parking for less time, it might be cheaper to pay on the day. We can't refund the difference if the price at the car park turns out to be less than what you paid with us.

Short stay parking at Stansted, easy to find and perfect for short break , walk to terminal 2/3 minuites. Plenty of spaces when we arrived . Hassle free .

The barrier did not lift. The guy was helpful on the intercom. He said I wasn’t on ‘both systems’ so he found my booking eventually and let me thro. I had to do same in my return. Please resolve this as this makes it stressful and delays you when this supposed to be a smooth process

Red car park barrier didn't open, had to contact help centre. Eventually found booking and opened up.
On return again had to contact help centre to open up. Seems some confusion over a change to my booking, probably when I changed cars back in May.

Arrived at Red zone but barrier did not lift. Called service and eventually got in but no ticket. Only spaces available at furthest point from terminal.
On return again barrier refused to lift, so called service. Seems confusion over booking as car reg changed (back in Appril when I changed car).
This us second problem with Holiday Extras car parking. Back in May I changed time to allow for security delays. Holiday Extras cancelled my Escape Lounge booking wirh no explation but refunded payment payment.
Not happy on both counts!!!
