Diamond Airport Parking Park and Ride is a secure Southend Airport parking option with a quick, friendly service and no need to hunt for a space. Simply arrive, check in with the team, and they will take care of parking your car while you head to the terminal on the included shuttle bus. Electric vehicle charging is available, making it a convenient option if you are travelling in an electric car.
Need to know
Park in the arrivals lane and head to reception. Show the team a copy of your booking confirmation and leave your keys. Your car will be parked for you while you take the shuttle bus to the airport.
Buses run regularly, take four minutes and are included in the price. They run from 3.45am until the last flight has landed, usually around 12.30am.
The shuttle bus will drop you at the Off Site Parking bus stop, which is less than a two minute walk to the terminal.
When you get back the bus will pick you up from the same stop and take you back to the car park, where the team will have your car ready for you.
Electric vehicle charging: Charging points are available at the car park. Availability may be limited, so follow the instructions in your booking confirmation or speak to the team on arrival if you would like to use a charger.

Transfers operate from 3.45am (15 minutes before Southend Airport opens) until Southend Airport closes, so you'll always be able to collect your vehicle, even if your flight is delayed. The shuttle bus will drop you at the Off-Site Parking bus stop, which is less than a 2-minute walk to the terminal doors.

Once you have your luggage, exit the arrivals doors and make your way to the Off-Site Parking bus stop in the Mid Stay car park. This is the same place you were dropped off. Once at the bus stop, follow the instructions on the return card you were given when you checked in.

More information
Make sure you don't call the Diamond Airport Parking before you get to Short Stay, otherwise you might end up having to wait longer for a bus. This is because buses are only allowed 5 minutes to pick passengers up and can't re-enter the pick-up area for 15 minutes.
Early or late? The car park offers a grace period of up to midnight on the date you have booked to collect your car. If you go into the next day you will be charged the standard rate of £20 per day. Please note this is subject to change.
Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles) will be accepted at the car park as long as they fit in a standard-size parking bay (2.4m x 4.8m).
Please note if you're bringing a long wheel based vehicle you'll be required to pay an additional supplement on arrival at the car park. The supplement will equal half of the total cost of the booking.
