Meet and greet parking just minutes from the terminal
Diamond Parking Meet and Greet is a convenient Southend Airport parking option that lets you drive straight to the airport and start your journey without delays. There is no need to find a space or catch a shuttle bus. Simply arrive, hand over your car, and walk to the terminal in around five minutes.
Need to know
On arrival, drive to the designated arrivals lane and check in with the Diamond Parking team. Show a copy of your booking confirmation and hand over your keys. Your car will then be driven to a secure car park while you walk to the terminal.
The terminal is around a five minute walk from the drop off point, making this a quick and straightforward option if you want to avoid transfers.
When you return, walk back to the agreed meeting point and contact the number provided in your booking confirmation. Your car will be brought back to you so you can load up and head home without delay.
This service is ideal if you are travelling with luggage, children, or simply want the easiest start and finish to your trip.

Arrival at Diamond Parking Meet and Greet
Head to the reception and hand over your keys to a member of the team, They'll deal with the paperwork, so all you need to do is walk to check in and catch your flight.
The Short Stay car park will charge you £4.50 to leave after a certain amount of time, so if you forget to call the car park before you get there, don't enter the Short Stay car park. Instead, pull up outside and call the car park.
Make sure you've left your charging cable in your boot so the team can charge your car for you.
Getting to and from Southend airport
Arriving at the airport
Drive to the Short Stay car park. The driver will take a photo and check your car over for damage. You'll need to give them your booking confirmation and car keys, as well as your return flight information.
From there, it's just a short walk to the terminal while a professional driver parks your car for you in a secured car park.
Make sure you've left your charging cable in your boot so the team can charge your car for you.
Returning to the airport
Once you've collected your luggage, call the car park to request the driver to meet you with the car. You'll be given instructions on where to meet your driver.
At their discretion, Diamond Airport Parking will give you up until midnight on the date you have booked to collect your car. If you go into the next day you will be charged £20 per day.
On your return to Diamond Parking Meet and Greet
When you've landed back, walk to the Short Stay car park. As you are leaving the terminal building, give Diamond Airport Parking a quick call on 01702 567 849. They'll meet you at the Short Stay car park with your car, then you can just hop in and drive home.
Make sure you don't call Diamond Airport Parking before you've got your bags otherwise you'll need to pay £4.50 to leave the Short Stay car park as there is a 10-minute time limit for pick-ups and drop-offs.

Early or late? The car park offers a grace period of up to midnight on the date you have booked to collect your car. If you go into the next day you will be charged the standard rate of £20 per day. Please note this is subject to change.

Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles) will be accepted at the car park as long as they fit in a standard-size parking bay (2.4m x 4.8m).
Please note if you're bringing a long wheel based vehicle you'll be required to pay an additional supplement on arrival at the car park. The supplement will equal half of the total cost of the booking.
