Choose from selected 3 and 4-star hotels at special, discounted rates, with the hotel name kept secret until your booking is confirmed. If a Mystery Hotel is available for your dates, it??ll appear in your search results alongside key details such as its star rating, airport distance and price. That way, you can compare the offer before you book. Found one that suits you? Book it like any other hotel and we’ll reveal its name once your booking is complete.
5. Choose a hotel where kids stay free
Family trips can quickly become expensive, so it’s worth knowing where you can save. Several Stansted hotels, including the Novotel, Holiday Inn Express and Premier Inn, let children stay (and often eat breakfast) for free when sharing a room with paying adults. Age limits, breakfast arrangements and room capacity vary, so check the details of your chosen hotel before booking.
6. If you can, travel off-peak
If your dates are flexible, travelling between November and March can often help you find better-value holiday extras, as these months are usually quieter. Travelling during the school holidays? Consider late August or early September, when summer demand and prices may start to ease.
