Save money, time and hassle
On-airport parking at Teesside means that you can park your car within the perimeter of the airport, within walking distance of the terminal. From just £4.62 per day, you can significantly cut the cost of the at-gate parking fees by booking in advance. This also allows you to book a space, so you wont have the anxiety of driving around a full car park looking for a space as your departure time ticks closer. Once you have parked your car, you can simply walk to your check-in. Theres no need for the hassle of catching a transfer bus and no need to fill in forms or submit your keys.
Park safely
The Teesside on-airport parking facilities have been awarded the Park Mark® Safer Parking status. This means the car park has passed regular police safety assessments and operates measures to deter crime and anti-social behaviour, including fencing, floodlights, a security barrier for restricted access/exit and CCTV. Security guards also patrol this car park 24 hours a day.
What to do on arrival at the car park
On-airport parking at Teesside is well sign-posted and easy to find. The car park works with a credit card recognition system. Simply bring the credit or debit card you made the booking reservation with to the car park. At the entry barrier you will need to insert your card. This will automatically confirm your booking and the barrier will raise. Find a space to park, (disabled parking spaces are located nearest to the terminal building), keep your keys and walk to the nearby terminal.
What to do if your forget to bring the correct card
If you forget to bring the card you used to make your booking, dont try a different credit or debit card as this may confuse the system, just take a ticket which will raise the barrier and park as normal. Retain the ticket as you will need this to operate the exit barrier.
What to do on return to the car park
When you return to the airport after your trip, you can enjoy the speed and convenience of returning straight to your car. At the exit barrier, insert the same credit or debit card you used for the transaction and the barrier will rise. If you needed to take a ticket when you first arrived at the car park, press the intercom and quote your booking reference. It is a good idea to bring your booking confirmation voucher with you just in case there is a system failure.
