The British value their Summer holiday and many still plan to take a holiday abroad in spite of the looming credit crunch. a recent survey commissioned by the on line travel company kayak.co.uk found that even though 66% of us are having to cut back almost 60% say that they will make other sacrifices in order to take their Summer holiday abroad.
Some reckon that a good option would be to take advantage of the weak dollar and take a holiday in North America and Canada. Surprisingly, prospective holidaymakers weren't phased by the weakness of the pound against the euro, 73% stated they would still take their holiday in Europe.
