London Luton Airport recently announced a new twice-daily route to Rotterdam, Netherlands with transavia.com. Starting on 27 October, 2008, the Dutch airline will further improve Luton's route network to the popular Benelux region.
Transavia.com operates a low-cost service with a young fleet of Boeing 737, expecting to take more than 130,000 passengers each year from London Luton Airport. The new Rotterdam service will allow for a full business day return in both directions, making it a welcome addition to the transavia.com schedule for business travellers.
Transavia.com's Business Development Manager, Arian van der Werff, said "With our low fares and modern fleet of B737 aircraft we are very confident that this new Rotterdam service will be a great success. London Luton Airport provides the ideal gateway for our London market enabling us to offer our low-cost product."
