No Winter flight cuts for easyJet
It has been revealed by easyJet that no major cuts will be made to their winter schedule for six regional airports, despite the reports of record fuel costs and planes of many of its rivals being grounded this winter. Flight plans will be unveiled at Manchester, Edinburgh,Glasgow, Belfast, Stansted and Liverpool airports. Luton based easyJet commented that there were no major cuts outside of seasonalities, when some summer routes are switched to skiing destinations.
So far the winter schedule does not include flights from Luton and Gatwick but does however boast new flights from Manchester to Sofia and Geneva. Recently the airline rolled out its winter flights from Bristol, Manchester, Newcastle and East Midlands. The two groups of regional hubs together make up about half of Easy Jets operations.
