Wizz Air has started running flights to the Ukranian capital Kiev from Luton airport.
Flights to Kiev Boryspil started last week, making Wizz Air the first low-cost airline to provide an international route to the Ukraine.
Central and eastern Europe's largest low-cost airline is providing the service four times a week initially, increasing to a daily service from March 28.
The new flights will provide much-needed transport links for many Ukrainians who live and work in or visit the UK, as well as British businessmen or tourists looking for a more unusual holiday destination.
