Thai Airways have bought six new superjumbo aircraft to improve flight services between London Heathrow and Bangkok. Two of the Airbus A380s will join the Thai Airways fleet to offer a direct service between the two cities.

The new Thai Airways aircraft will begin flying from Heathrow from 2009, joining Singapore Airlines who already use them for services into London Heathrow Airport.

Although exact specifications have yet to be unveiled, some of the on-board facilities in current models include in-flight showers and double beds, offering passengers a luxury service for the 6000 mile journey.

Details are yet to be announced about the improved services between Heathrow and Bangkok, with Thai Airways currently flying two daily services from Heathrow at 12.30pm and 9.30pm.

Heathrow Official Valet Parking provides an exceptional meet and greet parking package, offering the ultimate convenience for passengers flying from Heathrow Airport.

Fly off in style and luxury with an Official Valet Parking package available for eight days from £128.60*
