The Florida Keys tourist board are to allow holiday makers to return to the islands after Tropical Storm Fay hit last week.

The impact of the storm has proven to be minimal on the islands. Some trees, signs and awnings are down with some residents out of power temporarily but overall the damage has been low. Keys International Airport only experienced minor rain flooding on the tarmac and will resume normal service on the 20th of August.

Flights are available from Gatwick to Fort Lauderdale in Florida where you can connect to the Keys.
