Zoom Airlines, the low-fare transatlantic airline, will start a new route from London Gatwick to San Diego in Southern California for June 2008.
Zoom offers the only direct non-stop flights between Gatwick and San Diego.
The airline operates an ‘easyJet-style’ booking service with flexible one-way fares and the flights offer economy and Premium economy services with designated seating, meals service and ‘plenty of frills’.
San Diego offers visitors a fantastic blend of sunshine and surfside-chic with attractions that include the world famous San Diego Zoo, Coronado Beach, and SeaWorld. Golfers can look forward to the US Open at Torrey Pines in June 2008.
San Diego is the US’ seventh largest city and offers 70 miles of spectacular beaches and a year round Mediterranean climate. The city is only half an hours drive to Tijuana in Mexico, San Diego offers an abundance of options as an impressive holiday destination.
Zoom will be introducing a twice weekly service from London Gatwick with flights departing on Mondays and Fridays.
