Gatwick has been rated as the fastest for security queue waiting times out of ten of the busiest airports in Europe, according to a new survey carried out by the Airports Council International (ACI).
ACI surveys passengers in a number of languages every quarter and asks them to score airports across 35 categories and a range of service factors.

Europe's ten busiest airports are Schiphol in Amsterdam, Paris Charles De Gaulle, Paris Orly, Copenhagen, Madrid, Rome, Frankfurt, Manchester, Heathrow and Gatwick.
Over the last year 650 additional security staff have been employed by Gatwick and seven new security lanes opened. The airport handles 35 million passengers a year.
