Don't let his celebrity status fool you into thinking the prices will be high, because at Plane Food, that isn't the case. The restaurant at Terminal 5, Heathrow, offers a warm welcome to everyone, be it families, couples, groups or business passengers. You can even reserve an area for a business meeting or exclusive pre-holiday drinks.
You can enjoy the buzz of this exciting restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner, whilst overlooking the runway at terminal 5. The menus are varied; the À la Carte menu has something for everyone at surprisingly low prices. If you are in a rush you can take advantage of the 25 or 35 minute - Express Menu, or for those who are on the run, you can pick up something delicious from the Picnic Menu to take on-board with you. It really is a great way to kick-start your holiday.

Food and drink
Breakfast is a fine affair served from 05:30 - 12:00, with mini-croissants and toast to start, accompanied by tea or coffee. Followed by either smoked salmon and scrambled egg, or egg, bacon, mushroom and tomato, which can be washed down by a bucks fizz or glass of champagne. Children are well catered for with unlimited soft drinks and a choice of either a smoothie, pastries or fruit salad to start. They also have the option of pancakes with banana and maple pecan butter, or bacon, sausage, eggs and tomato.
The day menu starts from 12:00 until 21:30 and is sure to get your taste buds going. This 2-course menu, includes either a starter and main dish, or a main dish with dessert, and also includes a glass of wine and coffee.
To start you can choose from options such as spiced lentil soup with creme fresh, and roast beef carpaccio served with rocket, horseradish and lemon. Then you can follow this up with a mouth-watering signature Plane Food rib burger, with monterey jack and chimichurri sauce and with a side of hand-cut chips. There’s other dishes available such as the Italian fusilli, which is infused with aubergines, tomato, and provolone.
If you prefer something more indulgent, skip the starter and have on the divine desserts on offer. From brioche butter pudding served with a rum sauce, or you can try one of the other options like the sticky toffee banana.
With runways views and wifi available, this is the perfect place to enjoy your pre-flight food experience by one of the world greatest chefs. There’s even glossy magazines to take away with you for your flight.
