  • Escape Lounge The airport lounge at East Midlands was very disappointing. Myself and my husband have been in several lounges over the years. The staff were helpful. We were sat at a table which was more like a coffee table which is not very good trying to eat hot food from. The choice of food was very poor. We would book an airport lounge again but not at this airport.

  • Escape Lounge The lounge at East Midlands airport was spotlessly clean and well stocked at all times. Staff helpful, polite and discrete. Reserved tables meant table was clean and ready to use on arrival.

  • Escape Lounge Great experience and the staff were brilliant. Shame that it was a little crowded but I guess a lot more decided to use the lounge due to media reporting of security delays in airport passport controls

  • Escape Lounge Staff ver friendly and helpful. It was a very busy day and staff coped well with a very full customer list. The choice of food was more limited than our last pre-covid visit. It was difficult to put a meal together.

  • Escape Lounge The lounge was extremely busy when we arrived and our table for 6 was not ready and was covered with plates and glasses with leftover food and drink. It took a while for someone to come and clear and clean the table so was not a good start - but we all thought that it really wasn’t fair on the staff as it seemed there was not enough staff to cover the busy period and the staff were trying their best. We have used the Lounge many times before but even allowing for coming out the other side of COVID the lack of staff numbers was not enough to service the bookings which isn’t fair on the staff or customers.

  • Escape Lounge Visited EMA Lounge, lovely friendly staff, great value for money. Enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle of the airport. Great start to the holiday.

  • Escape Lounge We booked for a 3 hour slot but the lounge shut after 2 hours due to staffing issues. Not really good enough

  • Escape Lounge We were very unhappy with the lack of food and drink. The food choices were extremely limited. The fridge was empty so you must have taken all the non alcoholic drinks out. The seats were uncomfortable. We would have been better to go for a nice meal at a restaurant

  • Escape Lounge We had our Flight diverted to Doncaster due to the storms. We were unable to use the lounge at EMA and requested a refund. No one has contacted me about this since. No refund has been given. We then paid in full at Doncaster too. Shameful that this was not transferred. Our flight change was NOT out fault.

  • Escape Lounge 3 drinks per adult we should have been offered a refund. Why should the idiots spoil it for everyone just stop serving them if you think they’ve had enough to drink or is it another cost cutter!!

  • Escape Lounge I know it was not your fault but we arrived at the airport lounge to be given 3 tokens for drinks .This was a Christmas present for my son and his wife so a man in his 50s was allowed 3half pints of lager (no pints allowed) there was no hot food and only a few sandwiches.I was very disappointed If they cut back on service shouldn’t they cut back on prices? I have used this lounge many times and never seen any rowdy people there The reason they gave. I think they will lose a lot of business through being greedy.

  • Escape Lounge The lounge ran out of Danish pastries and yogurt. The egg was reconstituted and was rancid. There was a severe shortage of food. I did speak to the manager and you would have thought these problems were nothing to do with him!
    In addition, the tables were dirty.

  • Escape Lounge Worst experience we have ever had in the East Midlands lounge, worst set off staff with disgusting attitudes, dirty tables and seats, glasses for water couldn't be drank out of as they stank and they no longer have bottled water. We have a flight booked from EMA in April and have been very put off using the lounge again

  • Escape Lounge I’ve used the lounge many times and always enjoyed it but the past few times the choice of drinks as gone down hill.No bottled lagers just on tap which is not the best
