THREE Mediterranean cities will be within the reach of passengers flying from Luton airport from this summer.
easyJet is to start running flights to Milan, Mahon and Montpellier in July, and seats go on sale today.
Milan is Italy's second city and is renowned as one of the world's fashion capitals. Its Gothic cathedral is the third largest cathedral in the world and houses the world's largest collection of marble statues.
The French city of Montpellier is built on two hills six miles from the coast. Its historic centre is full of old, narrow streets and it is home to France's oldest botanical garden and one of the oldest universities in the world.
Mahon, the walled capital of Menorca, has one of the largest natural harbours in the world. Its boutiques, markets, bars and restaurants sit alongside impressive buildings reflecting its history as a bustling port.
Paul Simmons, easyJet's UK regional general manager, said: "These exciting destinations have an appeal for everyone."
Flights to Milan will start on Monday, July 6 and will run every day except Saturday.
Flights to Mahon will start the same day and will run on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Flights to Montpellier will start the following day and will run on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
