The Heathrow Hotel offers a great range of international dishes with a modern twist in its restaurant, Smith’s Bar and Kitchen. The restaurant has a philosophy of offering simple, local food at an affordable price. That’s not to say that the food is all British; the restaurant offers courses from Japan, Thailand, Italy, India and France, as well as salads and a selection of delicious sandwiches at lunchtime.

A selection of the tasty options on this ever-changing menu might include calamari romana to start, followed by penne with bechamel sauce, dolcelatte cheese, grilled chicken and rocket, then gooey hot chocolate pudding with custard to finish. Though you may not want to miss out on Smith’s chargrilled, 21-day dry-aged steaks, sourced from the Surrey Hills, less than 25 miles from the hotel. For lunch, who wouldn't be tempted by a fried Croque Madame with ham, gruyere and parmesan cheese, a fried egg, Dijon mustard, butter and fries?
The restaurant is also the venue for the hotel’s buffet breakfast. You can choose from cold cuts, cereal and pastries as well as cooked items for an additional charge.
