Dublin's Iveagh gardens will host this years Taste of Dublin Festival between the 12-15th June 2008. Chefs representing twenty-two of the capital's most renowned restaurants will prepare savory samples for over 35,000 visitors. The event also features the Chef Demonstration Theatre, the World of Wine, the Cocktail Academy and the Chocolate Experience.
The Drumms Chef's Demonstration Theatre will give you the unique opportunity to witness top chefs in action, including tutorials and Q&A sessions. O'Brien's World of Wine Fair allows you to experience over 200 wines from the worlds finest wine regions. Guests have the chance to meet the winemakers and learn about the wine making process.
There are two tasting sessions available every day; between 12.00-16.00, or between 17.30-21.30. Tickets are available online, at Taste Festival, from only 25 Euros. The ticket allows entry into one of the sessions, which uses its own special currency, the Florin. One Florin is the equivalent of one Euro.
