It's almost brand new, having been open for less than two years, and so it has a bright, modern design with well-thought out public areas and rooms, all kept scrupulously clean by lots of staff.
The staff members are one of the hotels best assets bright, alert and interested. We found everyone at the Gatwick Manor Royal was eager to make our stay as hassle-free and comfortable as possible.

Convenience - the Gatwick Manor Royal is only 2.5 miles from Gatwick Airport, its easy to find and once there, youll find plenty of parking. The restaurant is open all day, and there is a bar where you can grab a snack at any time.
Restaurant - as well as it being open all day, its cleverly designed to give you a good deal of privacy, despite being able to sit 170 people at a time. The food is good, and the service impeccable.
Rooms - the hotel has 204 guest rooms, and its designers have obviously put a lot of thought into making them super-efficient as well as comfortable. The beds are particularly impressive, with smart high leather headboards and superb mattresses. The Premier Inns good night guarantee ensures that if you dont have a good sleep, you can have your money back. The hotel is particularly suitable for disabled or elderly guests, with 12 specially adapted rooms.
Service - the members of staff are well trained and the hotel manager prides himself on the standard of service.
Quiet, spacious rooms, dreamy beds, big breakfasts, all in easy reach of check-in. Parking overnight is £7.
Getting to the airport
On the morning of your flight drive to the airport where you'll be met near the terminal by the driver. From there, it's a short 2-minute walk to the terminal.
Directions and a postcode for satnavs will be on your booking confirmation.
Check in from 3pm, check out by 12 noon.
Park overnight at the hotel which costs £7 and then drive to the drop off point near the terminal in the morning.
Parking with Maple Parking Meet and Greet is included. Give your keys to the driver at the terminal and your car will be parked for you in a secured site, up to 6 miles from the airport. It'll be brought back to the same place for your return.

Breakfast is served in the Thyme Bar & Grill. It's an all-you-can-eat continental and full English breakfast served to your table. It costs £8.99 for the full English and continental or £6.99 for just the continental.
Two kids under 16 eat free at breakfast for each adult who buys the special meal deal.

CleanProtect is the Premier Inn's new hygiene promise designed to make your stay as safe as possible.
When you arrive, some of the hotel team may be wearing protective equipment and you'll see perspex screens at reception. There are social distancing measures and hand sanitisers for you to use.
Public areas of the hotel are being cleaned more regularly using advanced cleaners. Your room gets a deep clean too with extra emphasis on high-touch areas including TV remotes and door handles. Linens and towels are washed with disinfectant detergent.
As well as the hotel, Maple Parking has introduced a whole host of measures to make your parking as safe and contact-free as possible. The parking team will be wearing PPE and your car key will be put in a clear bag, where it will stay until you get back.

Returning to a different terminal? Don't worry. Let Maple Parking know when you arrive and your car will be brought back to the other terminal free of charge.
Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles/fewer than 8 seats) will be accepted at the car park as long as they fit in a standard-size parking bay (2.4m x 4.8m). There's no height restriction at the North Terminal, but a 2m restriction at the South.
Early or late? The car park offers a grace period of until midnight at their discretion. Any longer than this and you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £10 per day, which is subject to change.
Don't forget to print your booking confirmation and take it with you as the car park will need to see this when you arrive.
