Long Stay
Europa
I had one night at the Europa Gatwick Hotel with 13 days parking. I was not impressed with the Hotel: the room needed a good steam clean as did much of the public areas; tea bags and coffee sachets in the room were placed in a plastic bag; two cups were provided but no saucers; the beds were ancient and the mattresses creaky; there were hairs in the basin and even the TV remote control was greasy. The first room I was allocated had not even been cleaned out from the previous occupant. On a positive front, the evening buffet and the morning breakfast were good. I have just returned from touring Spain and Portugal. In every instance the hotel rooms were spotlessly clean in contrast to the somewhat shoddy Europa Gatwick. In conclusion, I would not book this Hotel again, and I suggest you remove this establishment from your list of choices.

Premier Inn North Terminal
All seemed to work well but did cost me £200 more when had to change from Luton to Gatwick so ended up being much more expensive than originally thought.

Hampton by Hilton with breakfast
The Hampton by Hilton was a perfect pre-flight hotel at Gatwick especially as its right there! The lovely lady on reception gave us the choice of a bath or shower which was a nice touch. The room was comfortable, quiet, clean and looked like it had been refurbished recently. The free breakfast was good and provided more than we expected. The bonus of being right in the airport was a big plus and whichever terminal you're going from this is a great option.

Crowne Plaza Felbridge
We booked a Gatwick airport hotel and Meet and Greet parking. Everything went like clockwork, no issues at all. And a very reasonable price too!

Gatwicks Long Stay car parks are easy to find, with the route well signposted. As the car park has automatic number plate recognition, well ask you for your plate number when you book your parking. When you arrive at the car park the automatic barrier will recognise your car and let you in. You can see maps and directions to the car park at our Long Stay parking page.
There are Long Stay car parks at both the North and South terminals of Gatwick airport. A short bus transfer to the terminal is included in the cost of your parking and runs 24 hours a day, every 10 minutes. Depending on traffic, transfer times are usually around five minutes.
On the day of your stay
Drive to the Premier Inn A23 and park in the hotel's car park overnight. Full driving directions will be on your confirmation and overnight parking costs £15.
Getting from the hotel to the airport
Drive to Purple Parking - full details will be on your email confirmation.
Park in one of the arrivals bays and drop off your keys in reception.
You'll be given a ticket which you need to keep this safe and your car will be parked for you while you board the shuttle bus to the terminal.
Buses run from Purple Parking every 20 minutes, take 10 minutes to get to the North Terminal and 15 minutes to get to the South and are included in the price.
Purple Parking will keep an eye on your car with CCTV and regular staff patrols while you're away.
Coming home
Catch the shuttle bus back to Purple Parking. It's bus stop 6 at the North Terminal and bus stop 7 or 8 at the South Terminal. You'll need to show the ticket you were given when you arrived to the bus driver as you board.
Collect your keys from reception and find your car.
Drive to the exit barrier and scan the barcode attached to your keys to leave.
If you are due to return earlier than planned, give the car park a call to let them know.
