There is plenty to suit all tastes, with stores ranging from small boutiques and market stalls to popular high street shops. Norwich castle is the town’s focal point and the cobbled streets of Norwich lanes are just west of this historic building. The lanes are home to independent shops, galleries and traditional tea rooms, so there's plenty to explore.

Golf courses

There are numerous superb golf courses close to our Norwich airport hotel. The Royal Cromer golf club is regarded as one of Norfolk's finest courses and Royal Norwich golf course is set in mature parkland. Towards the west side of the town, Sheringham golf club is located on a strip of rolling cliff tops that lies between North Norfolk railway and the North Sea.

Entertainment

The recently developed waterfront complex includes restaurants, clubs and a multiplex cinema. The city also has a diverse range of clubs, pubs, bars and restaurants serving Thai, Japanese, Greek, Chinese, Italian, Mexican and many more types of cuisine, so there’s no reason to fly hungry.

There are plenty of attractions located close to the Holiday Inn Norwich, including the beach, which is only 15 miles from the hotel. For a sense of the town’s history Norwich Cathedral and Norwich Castle are both under five miles away. You could even enjoy evening entertainment at the Theatre Royal, which is just four miles away. If you’re looking for something to entertain the kids, the dinosaur trail at Dinosaur Park is great fun and just nine miles from the hotel complex. Fun-filled Banham Zoo, which is home to tigers, giraffes, penguins and many more, is a 20 mile drive away.

The Norfolk Broads are a wonderful place to enjoy a refreshing walk. The Broads are Britain's largest protected wetlands and are also home to some of the rarest plants and creatures in the UK. There is a restored windmill for visitors to explore, as well as medieval churches and beautiful gardens. You can explore this fascinating area both by foot and by bicycle.
