How many terminals are there at Glasgow Airport?
There are two terminals at Glasgow Airport. The Main Terminal and Terminal 2 (also known as the Satellite Terminal.) Both terminals are within a short walk from each other. The Main Terminal, also called Terminal 1, operates the vast majority of flights whilst Terminal 2, the smallest terminal at Glasgow Airport, is used for low-cost airlines check-in.

There are only a few services at Terminal 2, such as check in facilities, baggage weighing and toilets. All passengers have to pass through to the Main Terminal for security checks and boarding.
Is there FREE parking at Glasgow Terminal?
The only option for free parking at Glasgow Airport is in the Long Stay Car Park for 30 minutes. There is a courtesy bus that takes you to the terminals in five minutes. Any stay over 30 minutes is chargeable.
Dropping off and Picking up at Glasgow Airport
Pick Up & Drop Off at Glasgow Airport is charged at £5, this allows you up to 15 minutes. If you want to stay longer than 15 minutes you are advised to use the Short Stay car park, (more details below.)
The Pick up & Drop-off areas are located directly outside the main terminal building in car park 2. It can get very congested so it is only really suited for quick pick ups and drop offs.
Passengers with electric vehicles can access the pick-up and drop-off facility free of charge for the first 15 minutes. Electric vehicle users must pre-register direct with Glasgow Airport.

Short Stay Parking at Glasgow Terminal

Glasgow Short Stay is the closest car park to the terminal. It operates an ANPR (automatic number plate recognition) so when you arrive at the car park the barrier will lift automatically, simply drive in and park in any space - keep hold of your keys while you're away.
From here you can walk to the terminal so grab your luggage and head to check-in.
On your return walk back to your car and drive to the exit barrier which will lift automatically.

Glasgow Long Stay Parking
Glasgow Long Stay is the official car park if you're looking to stay for longer than just a few days. The long-stay car park is less than an 8-minute walk from the terminal or there is a shuttle bus that takes you to the terminal.
