First time leaving your keys? Here's how it works:

• Park and take your luggage – your car will be photographed from all angles.
• Head to reception and check in using the machine – keep your ticket safe.
• Relax while you wait – Head to the indoor waiting area with heating, coffee and free wifi.
• Catch the shuttle – Transfers run every 25 minutes, take around 14 minutes, and use fast-track lanes to beat the queues.
• Allow around 40 minutes to park and transfer – slightly longer at peak times. The team's got the timing nailed, so you'll be in good hands.

On your return:

• Hop on the shuttle back to Airparks.
• Use the secure lockers to collect your keys.
• Your car will be ready and waiting for a quick getaway.

The small print

Airparks Drop & Go now has online check-in – Check in online in about 20 seconds and park your car even faster.

If you're planning on returning early, try and give the car park as much notice as possible so they can have your car ready for you.

Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles) will be accepted at the car park as long as they are less than 2m wide x 2.1m high x 5m long. If your vehicle is bigger than the maximum (around the size of a Range Rover Sport), take a look at our Larger Vehicles package. The car park cannot accept any high-sided vehicles, minibuses, mobile homes, lorries, caravans or trailers.

Vehicles with a taxi licence plate can be parked on-site, but cannot use the Return Greet or Meet and Greet services offered by Airparks.

Early or late? As long as you arrive on the same day you've booked, there's no extra charge. Any longer than this and you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £20 per day. This is subject to change.

Getting to and from airport

Arriving at the car park

When you reach the car park the barrier will lift automatically – drive to the drop-off area and park in one of the blue lanes (remember which lane number you've parked in).

Head to reception and use one of the self-service kiosks to check in. You'll be given a ticket that you'll need to keep until you return and a label to attach to your keys. Drop your keys into the key-drop box outside reception and catch the shuttle bus to the terminal.

The shuttle is included in the price, has free wifi on-board, and runs every 25 minutes, 24/7. The journey takes around 14 minutes.

Returning to the car park

Catch the shuttle bus from where it dropped you off. You can use 'Where's my bus?' to see where your shuttle back to the car park is, which means no waiting around in the cold!

Back at the car park, go to the check-out shelter with your ticket and follow the instructions on the high-tech key dispenser. It will return your keys and tell you where your car is waiting for you.
