How many terminals at Stansted?
There is only one terminal at Stansted Airport. It is a single-level passenger terminal building, making it very easy to navigate. Before check-in, there are toilets, a few shops, and cafes, and a left luggage and bag-wrap facility. There are ATMs and a currency exchange desk and toilets. This is followed by the check-in desks and airport security. Once you're through security you will be guided through the Duty-Free shopping area which leads you to a number of bars, restaurants, and other retail outlets, as well as toilets, currency exchange, and further ATM's.
The gates at Stansted are located in 3 separate buildings, they're well-signposted and easy to get to.
Ryanair terminal Stansted
There isn't a specific terminal for Ryanair at Stansted. You will find the Ryanair check-in desks in the main terminal building along with all other airlines such as easyJet, Tui and Thomas Cook Airlines.
Is there FREE parking at Stansted Terminal?
Yes, The Mid Stay car park offers 1 hour of FREE parking. You can walk to the terminal in 7 minutes or hop on the quick transfer bus which takes just 10 minutes. Dropping off and Picking up at the Stansted Terminal
Stansted has an Express Set Down area specifically for dropping off. The cost of this is:

- Over 15 mins - £25.00

Stansted Short Stay - Useful Information
Stansted Short Stay is the closest car park to the terminal making a popular choice with lots of our customers. It operates an ANPR (automatic number plate recognition) so when you arrive at the car park the barrier will lift automatically, simply drive in and park in any space - keep hold of your keys while you're away.
From here you can walk to the terminal so simply grab your luggage and head to check-in.
On your return walk back to your car and drive to the exit barrier which will lift automatically.

Mid Stay Parking at Stansted Terminal
The Mid Stay is the car park of choice for those that are heading off on holiday for no longer than a week. From just £7.87 per day, it's one of our cheapest official car parks.
The Mid Stay car park is a short distance from the check-in desks which means you'll need to jump on a quick transfer bus. It takes just 7 minutes to get you to Stansted Terminal ready to check-in.

The Mid Stay car park has dedicated spaces for those picking up passengers. Short stays cannot be booked in advance with Holiday Extras, instead, you'll need to pay at the car park (by cash or card). You can find the turn-up and park prices below:

Stansted Mid Stay - Useful Information
As with all the on-site car parks at Stansted, the Mid Stay car park operates an ANPR system, so the barrier will automatically lift when you arrive. Simply drive in, park in any space then, catch the shuttle bus to the terminal. They run every 10 minutes, 24 hours a day. The transfers only take 7 minutes and are included in the price.
When you arrive back to Stansted, catch the shuttle bus from the same place it dropped you off. Collect your car and drive to the exit barrier which will lift automatically.

Stansted Long Stay Parking
Stansted Long Stay is one of our most popular car parks at the Stansted terminal and it's easy to see why. From just £6.25 a week, the Long Stay car park is our cheapest Stansted parking.
Whilst the Long Stay car park is located next to the terminal at Stansted Airport, it does require a transfer bus to take you to check-in. The service is very efficient, it runs 24 hours a day and the transfers are frequent, running every 15 minutes. They take just 15 minutes!

The procedures for Long Stay at Stansted are very easy. That's why it's such a big hit with our customers. When you arrive at the car park the barrier will lift automatically, simply drive in and park in any space - keep hold of your keys while you're away.
Head to the help point to request a pickup. The shuttle bus will collect you from the stop. They run 24 hours a day every 15 minutes, take 15 minutes, and are included in the price.
On your return catch the shuttle bus back to the car park from where it dropped you off. Collect your car and drive to the exit barrier which will lift automatically. If it doesn't rise press the intercom button for assistance and quote your reference number.
