You can't park closer than this. Short Stay 1 is only a 2-minute walk to the terminal, so you can park up and be at the terminal in moments. The perfect choice for a stress-free start to your holiday.

Need to know

Drive to the barrier – which will lift automatically – then drive in, find a space and park. Keep your keys, make a note of where you've parked, then walk the couple of minutes to the terminal.

When you get back, walk back to the car park where your car will be waiting, exactly where you left it.

The small print

Early or late? The car park offers a 6-hour grace period at their discretion. Any longer than this and you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £20 per day. This is subject to change.

Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles) will be accepted at the car park as long as they fit in a standard-size parking bay (2.4m x 4.8m).

Getting to and from East Midlands airport

Arriving at the car park

Drive to the barrier, which will recognise your car reg and lift automatically. Then drive in, find a space, park and keep your keys.

From there, it's a 2-minute walk to the terminal.

Returning to the car park

When you get back, walk back to the car park to pick up your car – it'ill be where you left it.

Drive to the exit barrier, which willl lift automatically, then you're on your way home.
