A hotel where value comes first
There’s no need to drive through the night because booking a Liverpool Airport Hotel doesn’t have to break the bank. Take the Premier Inn Liverpool, John Lennon Airport Hotel in Liverpool for example. The hotel is less than five years old, custom-built and extremely comfortable, all for a great price. It’s hard to find a good-value, limited-service hotel at this high standard, but the Premier Inn fits the bill.
You may not get a gym, a pool or a host of bars, but you will get comfortable, modern rooms and chirpy, friendly staff. Our room was as comfortable as one you’d find for twice the price and you can’t fault the service. Everyone we spoke to was friendly and seemed genuinely interested in striking up a conversation and giving you an old-fashioned Liverpool welcome.
One thing you’re sure to feel at the hotel is safe. We had to use our key card 3 times in going from reception to our room, which had deadbolts and covered peepholes in the door. This exceptional Liverpool airport hotel is welcoming and cosy throughout, and the security only makes it feel more so.
Tasty treats at the Thyme bar/restaurant
For your dinner and breakfast, the Premier Inn’s branded Thyme restaurant is a comfortable, up-market pub with a good range of drinks and some nice food. The menu isn’t fancy, but it’s all very-tasty comfort food and the price isn’t excessive for an airport restaurant, particularly the good-value breakfast.
If you just want a comfortable place to spend the night, you won’t go far wrong with the Premier Inn. You might find it leaves you with some extra spending money in your pocket for your holiday too!

We stayed at the Premier Inn, Liverpool airport for the night before our flight. Our room was clean and comfortable. We did the meal deal for dinner and breakfast at the hotel too, and this was great value. We drove to the long term car park at the airport on the morning of our flight. The car park was very busy but we managed to find a parking space. Then we could walk to the terminal in five minutes. On our return, our car was safe and sound, and we were able to easily exit the car park - the machine recognised our booking straight away. This is a great service and we will definitely use it again.

Getting to the airport
It's a 5-minute drive to Long Stay from the hotel. Once you've parked it's a further 5 minutes to walk to the terminal.
Check in is from 3pm and check out is by 12 noon.
Parking
Drive to the hotel and park your car – overnight parking is £12. On the morning of your flight, drive to the Long Stay car park and park your car.
When you arrive, the ANPR barriers will recognise your car reg and lift automatically. Park up, keep your keys, then walk to the terminal to catch your flight. Simple as that.
After your holiday, walk back to your car – it'll be right where you left it. Drive to the barrier, which will lift automatically, then head home.

Electric vehicle charging
The Long Stay has quick charge spaces available on a first come, first served basis. Spaces are free to use for up to one hour.

Rooms are decorated in a clean style with plenty of flashes of purple. Facilities include:

Wifi
Wifi is free throughout the hotel and in rooms, but the maximum data use is 1GB. It's fine for web browsing and social media, but if you want to stream videos it might be a good idea to upgrade to the hotels Ultimate Wi-Fi which costs £5 per day.

Restaurant and bar
The Thyme restaurant is a bar and grill offering a choice of hearty British favourites, with an atmosphere similar to that of your local pub. There's a special kids' menu too.
Dinner is served from 5pm to 10pm.
Breakfast
You can choose between continental or a full English buffet for breakfast, with unlimited Costa coffee and eggs the way you like them. Plus up to two children eat for free with each paying adult. Continental is £11.99 while full English costs £12.99.
Breakfast is served from 6.30am - 10am.
Good to know
Starting 1st June 2025, Liverpool is introducing a City Tourism Tax of £2 plus VAT per room, per night. You can pay this at the hotel when you check in.
