Terminal & parking changes from 5 March 2026
Terminal changes:
Manchester Airport is changing to a simplified two-terminal layout, with Terminal 1 being renamed Terminal 3.
- Terminal 2 – All airlines except Ryanair
- Terminal 3 – Ryanair only
Parking changes:
All car parks are being renamed to a numbered system: P1 to P16. This will make signage clearer and help you find your car park faster.
If you’re travelling from 5 March 2026, please double check your terminal and car park before you set off.
All mentions of Terminal 1 on this page refer to the new Terminal 3.

What is Meet and Greet Parking?
Meet & Greet parking is the ideal way to get your trip off to the smoothest start possible. You'll need to head to a designated drop-off point, where you'll be met by a friendly and professional driver. Your driver will collect your keys, and while you make the few minute walk to the terminal, they will take your car to the Meet & Greet car park.
Where is Manchester Terminal 1 (now T3) Meet and Greet?
You'll need to meet your friendly driver at a designated drop-off point, which is located at Terminal 1 (now T3). You'll go through an inspection area on the way, which automatically scans your car to record it's condition. This ensures that staff will return your car in the exact same condition as it arrived in, so you can enjoy peace of mind that it will be well looked after while you're off on your holidays. You'll be provided with an address and directions in your booking confirmation email, so make sure you keep this handy!
Where will my car be kept?
Your car will be moved to a nearby, secured car park, where it will remain until it's time to go home. This car park is airport owned, so you can expect the best in security features, including entry & exit barriers & fencing.
