You won't believe that a brand-new 3-star hotel can charge so little for a night's stay, but we're sure you'll want to reap the benefits at the Holiday Inn Luton Airport! (Formally the Ramada Encore Hotel.) You will save money, but be able to enjoy a meal in a fantastic restaurant, free wifi, a free 24-hour gym and new, comfy rooms. All this within walking distance of the terminal. We're sure this won't be the last time you stay here!

The Holiday Inn is one of the closest hotels to the airport, you can reach it in as little as 4 minutes!

Getting to the airport

You've got a couple of options when it comes to reaching the airport. You can walk to the terminal, which takes around 10 minutes, or take the bus which takes 4 minutes. Alternatively, a taxi costs around £11.

Check in from 3pm and check out by 11am.

Parking

Overnight parking is available at the hotel if you need it.

This package doesn't include parking while you're away. If you need parking for the duration of your trip try searching our airport hotel and parking packages instead.

Rooms

The rooms have Hypnos beds and are triple glazed. Other facilities include:

Triple and Quad rooms can accommodate a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children (up to the age of 12).

Requesting a cot when the sofa bed is in use is not recommended because of the hotel's health and safety policy.

Rooms are allocated when you arrive at the hotel. If you book a double room and the hotel is busy, you may be given a twin room instead, but they'll do everything they can to give you the room type you booked.

The high-speed wifi is free throughout the hotel, including in the rooms.

Restaurant and bar

You can look forward to a wide variety of dishes in the restaurant, including light bites, pub favourites and some deliciously tempting desserts. Plus kids eat free from the children's menu.

The restaurant is open 24 hours a day so there will always be something available.

Breakfast

Hotel restaurant– 5.30am to 10am weekdays, 6am to 10.30am weekends.

The hot buffet breakfast is served in the restaurant and features full English and continental items for £8.50 per adult. Choose from classic full English items like bacon, sausage and egg, or if you want something lighter they have continental items like cereals, fruits and pastries.

Kids under 13 eat for free.

They also cater to all dietary requirements.

The closest mainline railway station is Luton Airport, around a mile away.

Getting from the hotel to the airport

When it's time to fly you can walk to the terminal in about 10 minutes. There's also a public bus which costs £1.60 person. Check with the hotel upon arrival regarding the bus times, as the timetable varies depending on the day of the week.

Alternatively you can take a taxi, which will cost around £11.

Holiday Inn with Airparks Self Park Parking

On the day of your stay

Drive to Airparks Self Park before heading to the hotel. We'll give you directions in your confirmation email.

When you arrive, drive into the car photo booth. A member of the team will check you in while you stay in your car and then direct you to the relevant parking zone. You'll be given a ticket which you need to keep safe. Keep hold of your car keys and make a note of where you've parked for when you get back.

Catch the shuttle bus to the Holiday Inn Express, which is a 2-minute walk from your hotel.

The bus runs every 20 minutes and takes about 14 to reach the hotel.

When it's time to fly you can walk to the terminal in about 10 minutes. There's also a public bus which costs £1.60 person. Check with the hotel upon arrival regarding public bus transfer times, as the timetable varies depending on the day of the week.

Coming home

After collecting your luggage, catch the shuttle bus back to the car park – you'll need to show the driver the ticket you were given on your arrival. The bus will drop you off in the zone you parked in.

Holiday Inn with Swift Meet and Greet

On the day of your stay:

Call Swift when you are 40 minutes from the airport - the number will be on your booking confirmation.

Park in the Multi Storey car park in the Off-site Meet and Greet area - you’ll need to press for a ticket at the barrier.

Pull into a bay and hand your ticket to the Swift Meet and Greet driver. They’ll move your car to a secured car park.

Then make your way to the hotel which is about a 12-minute walk away. Or you can catch the public bus which costs £1.50 person. It runs every 20 minutes Monday-Saturday between 6am and 7pm. Buses run every 30 minutes on Sundays.

Getting to the airport from the hotel:

When it’s time to head to the airport you can walk to the terminal or catch the bus. Alternatively you can take a taxi, which costs around £8.

Coming home:

Call the car park while you’re waiting for your luggage - the number to call will be on your booking confirmation. Your driver will bring your car back to where you were met on your arrival.

Walk to the car park in the Off-airport Meet and Greet area where your driver will be waiting with your car and keys.

Holiday Inn with parking at Airparks

On the day of your stay:

Drive to Airparks first and leave your car in an arrivals bay. Remember to take note of your lane number.

Check in using one of the self-service machines, and you'll be given a ticket which you'll need keep hold of until you return. You'll also receive a tag which you need to attach to your keys.

Drop your keys into the key-drop box outside reception – make sure you put them in the correct box for your lane number – and catch the shuttle bus to the hotel. It runs regularly and takes around 14 minutes. It's included in the price.

Getting from the hotel to the airport:

On the day of your flight check out of the hotel and make your way to the airport. You can walk it in 5 or 10 minutes.

You can also catch the Arriva bus. It costs £1.50 per person each way and takes about 2 minutes. Check with hotel upon arrival regarding public bus transfer times, as the timetable varies depending on the day of the week.

Coming home:

You'll need to show the ticket you were given at check-in to the driver.

Make your way to the check-out shelter and follow the instructions on the key dispenser. Then collect your car and drive to the exit barrier - you'll need to insert your ticket to scan the barcode attached to your keys, and then the barrier will lift.

Drive to the hotel, check in and stay the night. Overnight parking is included.

Getting from the hotel to the airport

Drive from the hotel to ShortRun, 5 minutes away.

When you arrive at the car park simply park outside the check-in building and unload your luggage.

Head inside and a member of staff will check you in and take your keys. You'll be given a ticket which you'll need to keep for your return.

Then all you need to do is take the shuttle bus to the terminal. It runs on demand 24 hours a day, and takes 5 minutes.

Coming home

When you return give the car park a call and they'll arrange for the bus to come and collect you. Then hand in your ticket, collect your keys and pick up your car.

On the day of your stay

Drive to the hotel, check in and stay the night. Overnight parking is included.

We'll give you directions to the hotel in your booking confirmation.

Getting from the hotel to the airport

When you're 30 minutes from the airport, call Blue Circle to let them know your arrival time.

Drive from the hotel to the terminal which takes 10- 15 minutes. When you arrive follow signs to the Terminal car park 1, Level 3. You'll find bays marked "Meet and Greet". Your driver will be waiting for you, wearing an orange hi-vis.

Make your way to the terminal - it's just a 5-minute walk.

Coming home

Once you have collected your luggage, give Blue Circle a call. Make sure you let them know of any possible delays. The driver will deliver your vehicle to where you dropped your car on arrival.
