A hotel that really kick-starts your holiday
If you're concerned that dining at Mason's Restaurant might disrupt your fitness routine, the Hilton Manchester Airport Hotel has you covered with complimentary, 24-hour access to the Living Well Express Gym. Located on the ground floor, this dry gym features a range of cardiovascular equipment, including treadmills and rowing machines, as well as free weights and floor mats, ensuring you can maintain your exercise regimen seamlessly.
Alternatively, if you prefer a more relaxed setting, the hotel offers a stylish sunken lounge area near the foyer, perfect for internet browsing in a cool, executive ambiance. Wifi is free throughout the hotel, including bedrooms. There are computers and printers in the lobby that are free to use too.

Getting to the airport
A shuttle to the airport runs from 3am to 9pm and costs £3.60 per person. You can book the shuttle before you go – we'll send you the details on your booking confirmation.
A taxi to the airport takes 5 minutes and costs around £10, or you can walk to the terminal in 15 minutes.
Arriving by train? The closest station is Manchester airport train station.
Check in from 2pm. Check out by 12 noon.
Parking
Overnight parking is £17 per night, if you need it. The hotel car park has CCTV, entry and exit barriers, and security fencing and is patrolled 24/7.
If you need parking for the whole of your stay, search for our ‘airport hotel and parking' packages. It's often cheaper to book them together than individually.

Rooms were recently refurbished and have triple-glazed windows and blackout blinds. Guests say rooms are clean and comfortable.

The open-plan, Mason's restaurant has floor-to-ceiling windows along one wall and a show kitchen.
Expect wine in carafes, steaks cooked to your liking and waiter service that our guests have praised. The menu also offers salads, burgers, pasta and daily specials.
The Doubletree by Hilton caters to gluten-free, dairy-free, kosher, vegetarian and vegan diets and offers Halal chicken.
Children under 6 years old eat free from the kids' menu with a paying adult.
Children aged 6 to 12 years old can eat from the children's menu. If your child would like to eat from the main menu you'll need to pay adult prices.
Open: 5am to 10pm daily.
Bar
The bar serves soft and hot drinks, spirits, wines, ‘boutique' beers, cocktails and bar food from 11am to 11pm.
Dishes include sandwiches, salads and light bites, with a handful of larger meals like lasagne and fish and chips also available.
Large screen TVs show news and sports and the bar staff are praised for being friendly and polite.

Breakfast
The Doubletree by Hilton's breakfast gets high praise from guests for the huge amount on offer and the quality of the food. Coffee and tea are served at your table – help yourself to everything else.
The buffet offers a full English and continental buffet. There's a dedicated omelette station where you can choose your fillings.
Breakfast can cater to all dietary requirements – just speak to a member of the waiting team.
Leaving early? Book a ‘Grab and Go' breakfast at reception the night before – it'll be ready before normal breakfast service begins.
Tip: Book breakfast with reception the day before to save yourself some money.
Continental: 5am to 10am weekdays, and 5am to 10am weekends
Full English: 5.30am to 10am weekdays, and 5.30am to 10am weekends.
Things to do
- There's a free, small gym near reception. Towels are provided. It's open 24 hours.
- The bar opens out to a small patio in the summer months.
Good to know
Early flight? Drop off your bags and come back to the Doubletree by Hilton for breakfast while you wait for your flight gate to open. It won't cost a penny.
If you've forgotten anything, always ask at reception, they often have toothbrushes, toothpaste, shaving equipment, etc ready to hand out.
