My flight has been delayed or cancelled, what should I do?
Travel plans don't always go smoothly, and delayed or cancelled flights can be a hassle. But don't worry, we're here to help. Here's what to do if your flight's been disrupted.
My booking hasn't started yet
You might still be able to change your booking if it hasn't started yet. Head to our Making changes to a booking page for all the info and links you'll need to adjust your booking to suit your new travel times. This will depend on the type of booking you have.
It's the day of my outward flight from the UK
In the event your flight is delayed or cancelled to later in the day:
- Meet & Greet bookings will follow the same instructions on your booking confirmation – you'll need to let them know if you're turning up late.
- For other parking bookings, you can turn up at any time until midnight.
Travelling on a different day because of a flight cancellation or delay?
- For Meet & Greet bookings, call the number on your booking confirmation to let the parking team know of any changes.
- For other parking bookings, contact our team for guidance on the next steps.
Already parked? Get in touch with the car park if you need access to your car and they'll tell you the next steps. Always speak to the parking team before exiting the car park, as re-entry may not be allowed.
I'm already abroad
Has your return flight been delayed or cancelled and you're worried about overstaying at your booked airport car park? Here's what you need to know:
- Your car is safe and sound. Most car parks are used to travel hiccups and will accommodate your extended stay. They'll usually charge you for any extra parking at their standard rate – more information will be on your booking confirmation.
- For Meet & Greet bookings where your car is parked for you, check your booking confirmation for contact details and give them a heads-up about your new return time.
- When it's time to collect your car, pay for any extra parking before you leave the car park. Customers who have added on our Late Return Cover will be refunded for overstay charges up to 48 hours beyond the booked return time. Make sure you keep hold of your receipts for overstay charges and have evidence of your flight delay so that we can refund you.
