What time do I need to be at Palma airport?
It's recommended to arrive at least 3 hours before your departure scheduled time for non Schengen flights and at least 2 hours before Schengen and domestic flights.
How to get from Palma airport to the city centre?
The A1 airport bus runs to and from Palma city centre. Buses run every 10-15 minutes during the day (and every 30 minutes after 9pm), take roughly 20 minutes and costs €5 for a single ticket.
Alternatively you could pre book your transfer with Holiday Extras. A pre-booked private car to the city centre will take 20 minutes and cost around £7.83 per person.
How many terminals does Palma airport have?
Palma de Mallorca Airport has one terminal that's divided into 4 divisions or Modules - A, B, C and D. A is used for domestic flights, B, C, and D for international flights.

Palma Airport Terminal Information
On arrivals at Palma you will enter the airport through one of the 4 Modules (A,B,C or D). Travellers arriving from destinations outside the Schengen area will be required to go through passport control. After this you'll progress to the central terminal building, where you'll find the baggage reclaim area. The walk from the Modules to baggage reclaim is around 10 minutes. Travellers who have arrived from a country outside the EU will have to clear customs before entering the main arrivals hall. Within this hall, you'll find car rental counters, shops, restaurants and more.
Palma Airport Travel Information
Mallorca has an extensive bus service, with routes stretching all across the island. There are 2 bus companies that provide bus services from Palma airport to the city and beyond. The bus stops are located opposite the arrivals hall. If you exit arrivals through one of the doors 1 to 7, you'll be in the perfect position.
- EMT airport buses go to and from Palma city - A1 and A2.
- TIB airport buses, also called AEROTIB, connect the airport with other destinations across the island - A11, A32, A42, A51.
