Every passenger, regardless of their ticket type, may bring one bag into the cabin, this bag must be able to fit under the seat in front and should comply with these maximum dimensions - 45 x 35 x 20cm (height x length x width) which includes any pockets, wheels, handles and so on.

If you have purchased a Promo, Light, Plus or Top Fare ticket you will also be entitled to carry-on baggage which must be stored in the overheard lockers. This baggage must measure no more than 55 x 35 x 25cm (height x width x length) and weigh a maximum of 10kg in the Economy cabin and 16kg in Premium Economy or Premium Business cabin.

The baggage allowed for checked luggage (the bags that go in the hold of the plane) differs depending on your fare type. If you have purchased a Plus or Top ticket, you are entitled to 1 checked bag weighing up 23kg each, per passenger with no additional costs. For Basic and Light fares, you can add 1 bag weighing up to 23kg at an extra cost per bag, these will need to be added to your trip directly with Latam Airlines and while it can be added at the airport on the day of your flight, we do recommend doing so in advance.

All passengers travelling with Latam Airlines have the option to activate Automatic Check-in, all you need to do is fill in your trip details online 72 hours before your flight, when the check-in window opens 48hrs before your flight all of your important flight information will be there and ready.
