Most airlines recommend you arrive at least 2 hours before your flight departure time. easyJet allow you to check-in online prior to that to save you some time. It's always best to double-check this information with easyJet ahead incase of any unexpected delays.

The standard cabin bag allowance is one small cabin bag (max. 45 x 36 x 20 cm), which needs to kept under the seat in front of you. If you are an easyJet Plus member or have booked a FLEXI ticket you can also take a large cabin bag (max 56 x 45 x 25 cm) with you, this, however, is subject to space on board the flight. Any other luggage needs to be stored in the hold and is paid seperatly.

Any liquids that you intend to take in your hand luggage must be no more than 100ml, and that includes toothpaste which is considered a liquid. Larger bottles of liquid will need to be in a cse in the hold.

easyJet open online check-in for flights 30 days before your flight departs and it closes 2 hours before your flight departure, after this time you will need to go to the check-in desks at the airport. You can download or print your boarding passes for all your flights.

You will need to present a boarding pass at the airport for your easyJet flight, this can either be on a mobile device or a paper boarding pass printed out by you or a paper boarding pass picked up from the check-in desk.

There can often be long queues for bag drop with easyJet flights and you need to also remember that there can be queues as you head through security, particularly if you are travelling during a peak season, such as the school holidays or around special celebrations such as Christmas, Easter and so on.

One of the easiest ways to improve your time at the airport is to get a good night's sleep before you fly, and with long commutes involved it's often best to book into an airport hotel. These hotels are close to your airport and are well-practised in making getting to your flight on time as simple as possible, often offering grab and go breakfasts in the early hours and simple transfers to get you to the terminal.
