Family friendly or fine dining, the Hilton's the best choice
The Heathrow Hilton T5 boasts seven different dining options, although the two primary restaurants are the sophisticated, British Gallery restaurant, and Mr Todiwala's Kitchen, which serves authentic Indian cuisine.
The Gallery serves great-quality food made from locally-sourced ingredients, including some from the Heathrow farm and even the hotel's own orchard of apple and pear trees. You can expect classic dishes like burgers, racks of lamb, shepherd's pies, and pear and apple crumble served with proper custard. There's a section of the menu offering spit-roasted duck and other meats also. A trolley service gives you the opportunity to interact with a "theatre of food". You can see a lot of time and thought has gone into creating a unique, relaxed and friendly dining experience.
Seven stylish ways to dine
The Gallery Bar offers a number of small dishes, such as the posh 'Mini Bites'. These include delights such as the blue stilton mousse on crisp walnut bread, and the traditional haggis with carrot and cabbage salad. The menu has a primarily English theme, similar to that of The Gallery restaurant next door, although 'Asian and Oriental Tasters', such as chicken and herb dim sum with sweet chilli dip, are also there for the tasting. If you're looking for a healthy option, why not treat yourself to something tasty yet light in the Hilton's extensive spa as you enjoy the many treatments available to guests. Just off the foyer is The River Bar, where you can sample soups, salads, sausages and sandwiches along with a delicious cocktail and amid some electric mood lighting. Musetti's coffee shop is the ideal spot to grab something warm and comforting before you head off on your hols. Here you'll find pastries and cakes that will go perfectly with a hot drink. The seventh, and final way to satisfy your stomach, is from the cosy comfort of your room. The Hilton T5 offers 24-hour room service for a truly indulgent way to eat.

The restaurant serves some of the most delicious Indian food you will ever taste; beautifully light, with exquisite flavours. You can try amazing pooris, tandoor tikka dishes and dosas. There are a range of vegetarian options, amazing desserts and even a menu of select teas. Dishes come with a chilli heat rating and knowledgeable staff can talk you through the menu and make recommendations. If you're struggling to make up your mind, you can even order a selection of tasting dishes. If you choose the Hilton Terminal 5, it is frankly an unmissable experience.
