Yeoman Warders or 'Beefeaters'

Nicknamed 'Beefeaters' because they were permitted to eat as much beef as they wanted from the King's table, the Yeoman Body of 32 men and women are all drawn from the Armed Forces. The Tower of London is famously guarded by Yeoman Warders who have been guarding the Tower of London since Tudor times. Keeping a watchful eye on the Tower's proceedings, you'll get the chance to meet these iconic Warders and discover more about this historic landmark on London's north bank.
