Need to know

Drive up to the barrier – your number plate will be recognised. The barrier lifts, you park, and walk to the terminal. Keep your keys with you.

When you get back, walk to the car park. Hop in your car and head to the exit barrier. It'll lift automatically, and you're on your way.

Accessibility

Looking for accessible parking? We recommend Short Stay 1, which has Blue Badge bays available on a first-come, first-served basis. You'll need to display your Blue Badge while you're away.

The small print

Early or late? The car park offers a 6-hour grace period at their discretion. Any longer than this and you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £20 per day, which is subject to change.

Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles) will be accepted at the car park as long as they fit in a standard-size parking bay (2.4m x 4.8m).

Getting to and from East Midlands airport

Arriving at the airport

Drive to the barrier where your number plate will be recognised. The barrier will lift automatically. Park in any space – you keep your keys.

It's a 2 to 3-minute walk from the car park to the terminal.

Returning to the airport

When you get back, walk to the car park, collect your car and head to the exit. The barrier will lift and you'll be good to go.
