If you're looking for affordable parking at Terminal 3, this straight-forward option will be ideal. Parking made simple. Drop off your car and keys, and the shuttle bus will whisk you to the terminal for a quick getaway. With top-notch security, a premium heated and air-conditioned reception area, and a friendly team on hand 24/7, you'll be on your way in no time.
Need to know
When you arrive at the car park follow the signs for arrivals and drive through the car photo booth.
Park in one of the arrivals lanes and head to reception to check in and hand over your keys – they'll move your car to the secured area of the car park.
Skip the weather and wait in the comfort of reception until your shuttle is ready – it won't be long. Buses run every 20 minutes from 4am to 11.40pm and take between 12 and 30 minutes depending on your terminal. Outside of these times, you can take a taxi to and from the airport.
When you get back, just hop on the bus back to Purple Parking, collect your keys and you're off.

Electric charging
The car park doesn't offer charging, but there's a BP Pulse station right next to the entrance. Handy if you want to plug in before your trip or before heading home.

Your car's in safe hands. We only work with trusted car parks that take care of your car like it's their own. While your car's with them, it's fully protected – so you can head off without a second thought.
At this car park, your car won't be moved off-site. Plus it's secured by:

The small print
London's Ultra Low Emissions Zone (ULEZ) includes all terminals at Heathrow Airport. If your vehicle doesn't meet ULEZ standards, you'll need to pay the daily ULEZ charge when driving through Heathrow – make sure you check before you travel.
Larger or commercial vehicle? The car park has changed its terms and conditions meaning that some larger vehicles are no longer accepted. If your vehicle is one they won't accept you'll be charged an additional £25 per day when you arrive. Please read below for full details and check whether the car park will accept your vehicle before you book.
Purple Parking Park and Ride cannot accept:
- Commercial vehicles or mini buses of any variant.
- Single or double cab pickup trucks such as Ford Ranger, Toyota Hilux or Nissan Navara.
- Medium panelled or windowed vans such as a VW Transporter, VW Caravelle, VW Caddy, Ford Transit, Mercedes Vito, Mercedes Viano or short wheel based vehicles of any description.
- Large panelled or windowed vans such as a Mercedes Sprinter, VW Crafter, Renault Master, Ford Transit or long wheel based vehicles of any description.
- Any variant of camper van.
- Any vehicles over 2.15m high.
- Failure to comply to the above, you will be charged an additional £25 per day.
The car park will move your car to a self-park area and charge an additional £25 per day in any of the following cases:
- Not providing a key to your vehicle.
- Not deactivating ghost alarms (or not providing clear instructions to the team at check-in).
- Not removing steering wheel locks.
If you have an electric car, make sure it has enough battery charge to be moved through the car parks and last the duration of the stay. Otherwise, the car park may charge you a fee.
Returning to a different terminal? Don't worry this car park runs shuttles to terminals 2, 3 and 5. On your way to the airport ask your bus driver where to go on your return.
Early or late? The car park offers a grace period up to midnight at their discretion. Any longer than this and you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £25 per day. This is subject to seasonal change and you'll need to pay by card. The car park cannot offer refunds if you return early.
If you don't arrive by midnight on your booked arrival date, your booking will be cancelled and the car park will charge you £25 for the booking to be reinstated. If you're planning on returning early try and give the car park as much notice as possible so they can have your car ready for you.
Staff are at the car park 24/7, so if you arrive between 1am and 4am your car can be released.
Getting to and from airport
Arriving at the airport
When you arrive you'll be shown where to park. Then, head to reception to check in and hand over your keys.
The team will move your car to the secured area of the car park while you catch the included shuttle bus. It takes 12 to 30 minutes and runs every 20 from 4am to 11.40pm. Outside of these times, you'll need to take a taxi.

Returning to the airport
On your return, just catch the bus back to Purple Parking to pick up your car.
