Need to know
Drop your car off at the Short Stay car park. A member of the team will meet you there and park your car while you walk to the terminal.
When you get back, call the car park and head back to where you were met on your arrival.
You'll need to photograph your vehicle at the drop-off area, otherwise it may affect any claims you make for damage.
Accessibility
This service is suitable for customers with limited mobility as you don't need to get a shuttle bus.
Security
The car park is secured by:
- Perimeter fencing
- 24-hour security patrols
- ANPR entry cameras
- CCTV
Electric vehicle charging
Your car will be charged for you while you're away. There are four 7kW and eight 13A plugin spaces. The car park also has six has 22kW fast charging electric charging points, which are £20 for customers to use. The car park can't guarantee the availability of the charging points and you'll need to bring your own cable and plug.
Good to know
In August 2023, London's Ultra Low Emissions Zone (ULEZ) expanded to include all terminals at Heathrow Airport. This is part of an initiative to help tackle air pollution.
If your vehicle doesn't meet ULEZ standards, you'll need to pay the daily ULEZ charge when driving through Heathrow – make sure you check before you travel.
Your car will be parked in a secured off-site compound within an 11-mile round trip from the drop-off point.
Most standard cars will be accepted at the car park as long as they fit under the 2.1m entry barrier. If your vehicle is over 2.1m high and 5m long it can still be collected but you'll need to pay extra.
Help us go green! There's no need to print out your booking confirmation, show it on your mobile device.
Returning to a different terminal? Terminals 2, 3 or 5 only. Don't worry. Let the car park know when you arrive and your car will be brought back to another terminal.
Returning to Terminal 4? Let the car park know when you arrive and your car will be brought back to you at T4 for £15.
Early or late? If you arrive between midnight and 4am, you‘ll be charged £25, you may also need to pay an hourly rate and in some cases, may have to collect your car directly from MBW. This is subject to change.
Although MBW is committed to making sure your vehicle is collected and returned at your booked times, allow up to 45 minutes extra.
Make sure you allow enough time before your flight to meet the team at the Short Stay car park so they can photograph your vehicle.
MBW does not accept responsibility for events beyond its control, or any resulting delays or extra expenses from these. This includes, but is not limited to, traffic jams, early flight arrivals or delays, flight cancellations, security checks, bad weather or acts of nature.
Let MBW know as soon as possible for any time changes. There may be delays if the time changes within 24 hours of the original booking start time. If you make any changes with less than two hours' notice that's over 30 minutes, there's a £25 charge, plus any Short Stay car park charges. MBW has the right to refuse vehicle collection or delivery without warning.
