The transfer when we got to the airport was 30mins late,the guys just kept saying they will be here in 3 mins then 3 mins then 3mins,so it dragged on while our full flight had gone into the distance! I boojed personal tranfer so we could get there with no hold ups,the drivers where lively though

Great transfers. On time and very pleasant staff.
Improvements: Due to the new biometrics scheme across Europe, the transfers are getting people to the airport in time for the check-in gate to be opened, however this means that you are very far back in the queue. It is not the fault of the transfer scheme, but it MUST be worth considering an earlier pick-up so that customers are not worrying about being able to check in before a flight. It took me 2 hours to check-in due to the queue and my transfer was on time.

The service was very smooth, all staff were friendly and efficient.
On arrival in Lanzarote I checked in at the desk and was directed to the bus stop which wasn’t easy to find but I got there in the end.
I didn’t have any luggage & boarded the bus. The driver counted the passengers and departed. When we were down to the last few passengers she was surprised to discover that I was going to the Livvo Volcán and told me I should have checked in with her. This was embarrassing. I presumed she had my name on her list as I had been expected and everything else was so efficient.
She was a very nice person, I apologised, she apologised and all was well but if I’d been told that I needed to check in with the driver the problem could have been avoided.

We found it was confusing before we went as the instruction said show voucher but we didn’t have a voucher! After doing an online chat we were told all we had to do was show our email!
On the return the link on the Holiday Extras message wouldn’t open for us to confirm our departure arrangements but we had already received a message from the transfer company so that was also a little confusing!

We arrived late, whilst I did email prior to taking off to advise it was reassuring that they were waiting when we reached the terminal.We had booked private transfers but due to delays with a lot of flights we was asked to share with 4 other people. We accepted but the others did want to make a fuss which was a little uncomfortable. I did ask for us to be dropped off first which they did.

Worked very well after initial late pick up due to late flight arrival and slow passport control.
Wrong appartment number on confirmation but driver took us to correct address on arrival.

Don't state that your customer will find out the pick up time that is an unrealistic target for you achieve because then you create panic when we don't get the details at the stated time.

We got stuck in the airport at Lanzarote and so missed our transfer to the hotel. I paid for the cover in case this happened and made a claim. It was handled swiftly and to my full satisfaction. The return transfer was on time and with a very polite friendly driver.

We were met in Arrivals, taken to a minibus which was parked about a 5 minute walk away, and driven to our hotel. We were picked up from our hotel on time and driven back to the airport Departures entrance in another minibus. All went well. Both drivers were courteous.

We booked the shared shuttle transfers from Lanzarote airport to the Playa Blanca area and vice versa. The price was reasonable for the 2 of us and our booking confirmation had clear instructions on how to find the transport upon arrival.
We had a short wait of around 5 minutes for our coach to arrive. Once we had boarded, we waited around 45 minutes to set off once all other passengers had boarded. We dropped off at a few other hotels on route to ours.
The return pick up was exactly on time and we then picked up at other hotels on the way to the airport (all as expected with a shared shuttle).
All in all a good, reliable service.

On arrival at the airport our driver was waiting for us with a noticeable sign. He was polite, friendly and attentive to our needs. He drove with care and attention.
On our return journey I received a call from the transport company well in advance of our pickup time to check if we wanted an earlier pickup time due to some delays at the airport. We are always ready early so said yes and the driver was there within two minutes.
Again polite and friendly.

Both Holiday Extra's and MTS (who ran the shuttle service) advised that the pick was outside the hotel. Actually, the bus parked on the main road about 100 metres from the entrance on a side road so we were lucky to spot it in time!

Lovely lady, good driver, met us at the airport. Unfortunately, the service from our hotel back to the airport wasn't so good. We were due to be collected at 11.00 on 8th March. We had a phone call at 10.30 to say our driver was waiting for us. He was a sullen man and drove really fast. We felt that we were a major inconvenience.

The outbound transfer was excellent - the bus was ready & waiting for us as soon as we had collected our bags. The transfer time was very good.
The inbound transfer picked us up slightly ahead of schedule but then took nearly twice as long to get to the airport compared to the advised estimate.

The proposed pickup time from the hotel which was advised the day before departure was incredibly early. This meant we arrived at the airport an hour and a half before check-in had even opened. Unfortunately it proved impossible to reschedule the pickup time from the hotel. In future I'd be tempted just to order a taxi at the hotel to avoid shortening the holiday so much, particularly with young children.

Easy to find kiosk in Arrivals hall and got directions from staff to coach area. Fairly speedy journey. Only slight negative is that I had no idea how many hotel stops there would be before mine. FYI..once in Playa Blanca the bus goes right towards Faro Park area and other stops then doubles back and does left coast side stops towards Rubicon Marina.

Such a long wait on the bus waiting for it to fill up with passengers from other planes… then a lot of drop offs before mine and really it should have been a 15 minute trip. I was in the bus nearly 2 hours!!!

One hour and forty five minutes to get out of Lanzarote airport after landing. I rang the number provided after about forty five minutes and was immediately reassured that it wasn’t a problem. When we eventually got through arrivals we were immediately greeted by our driver. What an excellent service. Shows care and respect combined with exceptional customer service.

Pick up from the airport wasn’t clear. We were unsure of where the shuttle office was.
When told the bus stop number to wait at, we were not given any idea of how long the wait would be. We waited at least 40 minutes.
Pick up on return was much better as we were given a pick up time and place to be. Also given vehicle registration number and driver’s phone number.

I originally booked with Jet2 then got the email from holiday extras came through, if I had know this I would have booked with holiday extras and bypassed jet2 as I know that they would have added money on top. I was charged £170;00 for return transfers, a cab in Lanzarote was €60 each way so I felt ripped off. Plus the driver wasn’t waiting for us at the airport so had to try and ring the cab company to sort out what was going on , eventually he turned up , I had booked a cab for speed and we ended up in a large mini bus very slow and bumpy , not the greatest of experience.

The options to provide an accurate address if you’re staying at a Villa are limited. The booking needs to have a space so this can be added.

We booked our private transfer through Jet2, our holiday company. Our drivers each way were very prompt and professional. It seems all transfers are by minibus, which seems an expensive way of doing business if you are only conveying two people as in our case. However, we were very happy with the service we received. The vehicle was clean, tidy, a child seat was available, and seat belts were fitted and working.

Transfers in Lanzarote. Our flight arrived late, and issues at the airport long wait for passport checks, over an hour past our allotted time to collect us from the airport, but the driver waited all that time, when we got there, he was very happy and pleasant, greeted me, had a sign with my name on it, which made him very easy to find. Helped us with our luggage. We also had a member of our family that had a sore foot and couldn't walk great, but he made sure we didn't need to rush and was very comforting, helped us at our own pace, arrived at our hotel in good time, very good driving. On our return to the airport, the same driver collected us and was there exactly as we was told, a few minutes early actually, which was great. Again, happy and helped us. My son wasn't feeling too well, and was sick, the driver went out of his way to make my son feel better and assured him it would be ok, as my son was apprehensive about getting in the minivan feeling sick, but the driver was great with him, went out of his way to make us all feel good, hats off to him, amazing person. Helped with all our luggage, nothing was too much, and got us to the airport in good time. Great service. That great we gave a good tip both ways. Perfect!!

At Arricefe Airport there is quite a walk to the bus so booked the private transfer as my daughter wears a surgical boot and has mobility problems but the transfer minibus was actually a further walk.
The return transfer was perfect, lovely lady with minibus all decorated for Christmas. Direct from apartment to airport doors.

Comfortable vehicle and welcoming driver who maximized the convenience on arrival. Our flight was early so we were waiting for the driver until the scheduled time, not normally a problem but we were on a timeline which would have been more relaxed had he been waiting for us. Return pick up was perfect, no fuss although the timing was probably 40 minutes earlier than needed with no bags to check in.

Initial confusion at the airport as driver thought that we were part of a group going to a different hotel. Walk to the mini-bus was quite long and very fast. Driver didn't actually look back once to see if we were following. Drive to hotel was somewhat scary - high speed and one handed all the way as the driver was on the phone for the entire journey, including the time it took him to toss the bags out of the back.

When the bus turned up to pick up my son for this order, he was asked to go round to the other side of the coach with his cases. He was then asked to come back round to the other side and by then the people that were behind him in the queue were in front and there was there not room for him to be taken. Another bus was sent. There was also not Room on that one so he had to wait for a third bus that then took him to the destination. I was not impressed with this with him being in a foreign country and Young.

Booked a private hire cab with you at Lanzarote airport, my son who has been to Lanzarote many times said to cancel your service, as the local taxis are cheaper, glad we never, because the taxi queue was so long as the airport .
The one thing you must address is the greeter or rep at the airport- could not find him, walked past them all 3 times, eventually rang your number & he was there, he was holding up a small mobile with my name on it, where as the others had large notices, so wasted about 20mins, everything else went perfect as usual with Holiday Extras.

On arrival that was late I followed the clear instructions given on the printout and after asking the TUI transfer rep was advised where the site was. I do feel that the walk was longer than expected and anyone with a walking difficulty would find it stressful especially after a late arrival at the airport. I however even after getting to my pick up point was delighted with the excellent service by the driver.The return transfer was excellent, picked up on time at the pick up point required on the provided printout.

I would book transfers again BUT our transfer mini bus was not at the airport on arrival. We were just over an hour late due to a delay on the runway in the UK. The supplier did not answer the phone and it then said couldn’t connect. They had not tried to call me. Was not happy! We had to then pay for 2 taxis with a baby in tow! The return to airport was excellent but I contacted HE to ensure the return was arranged as the original suppliers couldn’t find our bookings. I ended up calling a HE helpdesk number in Arizona which used up my spend cap up in minutes!

The driver was waiting for me when I entered the airport lounge, which was good. However, he was very brusque and quite rude. Whilst walking to the taxi he just took my case and left me with 2 heavy bags to carry. He also thought it was acceptable to run my suitcase into the path of a person walking towards him, whom he obviously knew and thought this was funny, but I didn't! The same man picked me up on the day I was returning to the airport. He had the same brusque manner, he was quite early and had parked down the road from the complex entrance, but he didn't speak to me! So I just waited near the entrance gate and he drove down to where I was waiting. He really needs to change his attitude and manner.

On arrival we were met by a very friendly driver who allocated us a car, (we had booked a minibus) the 30 minute drive to our hotel was quite a scary experience, the driver exceeded the speed limit for the majority of the journey and overook on a stretch of road where overtaking was not allowed.
On the return journey our driver didnt arrive on time so i had to phone the number provided to track him down. The man i spoke to gave me the impression that he had no record of our booking but ensured a driver was sent quickly. Received a phone call the day before leaving, informing us that they had to bring our transfer forward by an hour due to the road to the airport being closed due to a cycle race. Not a major issue, but other transfers from the hotel left at normal time. Outcome was that we were at airport 4 hrs before departure. I suppose better safe than sorry. Having arranged airport transfers many times, it is important to us that the pick up vehicle is outside the Arrivals hall. We do not want the fast-paced walk (with luggage) up to the bus terminal/car park above the airport. Doing this you get dragged into the throng of passengers who are typically going to get their shared buses to the resort hotels. This is fine if this is the service you want (included in the TUI price) If I’m paying for a private transfer, I expect the more convenient location. This does appear to be a bit hit and miss, how can I guarantee this better pick up location?

All mostly went well with pick-ups on time. It would be better if you could introduce a ' speedy shuttle ' as others do to shorten the transfer time from airport to resort and vice versa.
In our case the transfer to the hotel was 1 hour 15 mins as we were last off. The return journey took 25 mins as we were last on. A big difference.

Opted for the quoted 15 min transfer as opposed to the cheaper 50 mins option . I expect the usual wait for the bus to fill and assumed the 15 mins was first drop in the resort. But first drop was areciffe so no chance in getting to Costa tequise within the 15 mins . On return my pick up was a full 4 hours before flight . The driver was waiting in the meet and greet area and told us where the coach was. After a short wait on the coach we were on our way. Everything went smoothly. On our return, the pick up coach was on time, after a few pick ups we arrived at the airport in good time. . Very organised.

On arrival at supplier desk told to go to area number, quite a walk. When we got there it seemed to be buses and coaches so we walked further on then had to walk back to the first area where our mini bus was waiting at the end of a line of buses and coaches. Your previous supplier used to be waiting as people exited airline and helped with suitcases.

We booked a private vehicle to take us from the airport in Lanzarote to our villa in Playa Blanca (and back again at the end of our holiday). Everything went smoothly. Our transport was waiting for us at the designated spot, and the driver was so friendly, and helpful with our bags. Long drop off as driver forgot our hotel stop and left us on coach an extra 1/2 Hr after majority of pasangers dropped off.We then had to to double back to the other side of resort. Over 1Hr 15 min at the end of a long day for 40 min drive.

Driver waiting as we came through customs. He was very helpful, as our accommodation wasn't listed when we booked, but he was able to find it anyway.
Return driver very helpful and we arranged for him to pick us up earlier than we booked, due to strikes at the airport possibly affecting our check in.
Tried to give him a tip, but he would not take it.

We were staying in a villa so we were offered a nearby address as our drop off point. It was opposite where we were staying. Fantastic! There's always some waiting around and possibly a longer journey than usual but I feel the price more than compensates for this. Easy to confirm pick up time for our return journey. Excellent response time to our questions. Polite and friendly drivers. Would definitely choose the service again.

The ability to contact your company by telephone. I did the "chat" to amend my booking, I was told it was done and I would receive email confirmation. I didn't and it hadn't been actioned. I had to sort it out with the supplier in Lanzarote which was most inconvenient. I was unable to access my booking to make the amendment myself which caused an awful lot of stress. Poor customer service all round.

This was our first time of booking an airport transfer with Holidayextras. It went very smoothly. We were a bit concerned that our return pickup time would not be given until the day before we left, however there was no need to worry - as long as your mobile phone is charged! On our arrival…which came in soon,we realised so waiting for awhile was no problem,however after about 10/15 minutes I decided to find the Gateway information desk to make sure I was checking this properly,when I got to the desk a lady seen my check in vouchers and immediately said I will sort this out and also explained all the flights were arriving early and caused a knock on effect,she asked us just to wait for about 10 minutes and hopefully our pick up would be here.less than that she came back and said she got us another car,she was absolutely fantastic but we didn’t get her name.the driver took my wife case then led us to our car,he to was polite and courteous and promptly took us to our hotel.many thanks and we are recommending your service to everyone

Our flight from Gatwick was delayed by 2 hours. I followed the instructions from your email if this should happen. The WhatsApp message wanted an answer to choices that were not relevant. Tried calling the number given on your email, after responding to prompts the phone went dead. Didn't leave us confident that our private transfer would be waiting. There was a transfer but shared not the private one booked and paid for.

Taxis (mini bus) arrived on time but pick up driver was not friendly and hardly courteous. He beckoned us to follow him for what seemed miles to transport and never offered to help my wife with her bag. The young lady who picked us up from hotel however was pleasant and cheerful.

I checked the pickup time online; then found, under my door, a copy of the email that had been sent to reception at our appartments. Actual pickup - and ours was the last of several in the resort - was within a couple of minutes the time we were advised. Very impressive.

There was a fair bit of waiting around on outward journey as we had to wait for the minibus to fill up before we could begin our journey. On the inward journey we were picked up just under 4 hours before flight and due to an odd pickup sequence we were on the bus for an hour when the airport was roughly 15 minutes away. That been said the drivers were fine as was the transport and they got us to and from the airport as described for the best price available...apart from getting the service bus which involves changing bus. So thank you.

Our transfer from airport to hotel was disappointing. We saw a girl with our name on to show we have a taxi booked, but we had to wait about 15 minutes for our driver to arrive to escort us to his car about a 10 minute walk from inside the airport & I’m not good at walking with a stick. Also he didn’t help us with our luggage or spoke a word to us the whole journey. However the return from hotel to airport was much better. The driver was on time & helped with our luggage.

Even though we had forgotten to print our voucher and had a little panic when asked for it, our driver was brilliant and took a screenshot of our booking on our phone and assured us this would be fine for our return as well. Driver was waiting for us at the airport and the transfer was smooth.

The actual transfer was very good polite drivers and goid vehicles. The customer service experience from an admin perspective not so great , on the paperwork it said to call 48 hours before flying back to the UK and gave me a local number to call. It took me a further six phone calls to reach the correct person as each new number I was given directed me again to an incorrect department. It would be helpful to have the correct number on the paperwork as this took half an hour of my time. Luckily I had roaming on my phone otherwise this would have cost me a lot in telephone calls also.

The issue we had was that 48 hours before our holiday the e-ticket was sent to us, with a section in bold red writing that all children must have the correct car seat to travel on the transfer or we would be refused. As you can imagine this caused panic as we was not offered these as an option to add on, I would of added these. I then contacted yourselves to add these on, which was apparently possible but got cut of at your 8pm closing time. I then had to wait to the morning after, less than 24 hour before leaving to be told this isn’t possible. We rushed around getting car seats and appropriate bags to take there in, only to get to resort and not need them at all. I’m quite happy to do whatever we need to ensure my children’s safety but the way it happened was very stressful and caused more difficultly carrying all the car seats at the airport. I feel this should be clarified better on the booking confirmation and with resort as we didn’t need them. The transfer to and from the airport was perfect and on time both ways for us. We booked car parking with yourselves which was also good.

Couldn’t improve anything. It was PERFECT service. Easy to book. When we got to the parking place we just had to hand our keys in and keep the ticket with us. When we landed we called the number on the ticket and they came and picked us up. Gave us the keys and off we went. Super cute easy. The staff were all lovely and will definitely use you again!
