With shuttle buses running every 10 minutes and taking around 10 minutes, there's no hanging around or too long on the bus. Family parking bays located next to the bus stops help to keep things stress-free. Perfect for longer stays, so you can have the time of your life knowing your car is in safe hands.

Need to know

Head to the car park – the barrier will recognise your car reg and lift automatically. Find a space, park and keep your keys. Make a note of where you parked for when you return, then take the shuttle bus to the terminal – it's included in the price, takes 10 minutes and runs every 10 minutes, 24 hours a day.

If needed, there are family parking bays near the bus stops, on a first-come, first-served basis.

When you get back, take the shuttle bus back to the car park, pick up your car and head home. The barrier will lift automatically so you can be on your way.

Make sure to add your car registration when you book so the entry and exit barriers recognise your car. If there are any issues at the barrier, press the intercom to speak to the parking team.

Accessibility

Shuttle buses are wheelchair accessible, and there are Blue Badge bays at the car park. They're on a first-come, first-served basis, and you'll need to display your badge while you're away.

The small print

Early or late? The car park offers a grace period until 11.59pm at their discretion. Any longer than this and you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £15 each day. This is subject to change.

Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles) will be accepted at the car park as long as they fit in a standard size parking bay (2.4m x 4.8m).

Drive to Gatwick Holiday Parking Self Park and the barrier will recognise your car reg and lift. Park in any space, keep your keys and head to the nearest bus stop.

Returning to the airport

When you get back, take the shuttle bus back to Gatwick Holiday Parking Self Park from where you were dropped off.

Once you've picked up your car, head to the exit barrier, which will lift automatically, and then head home. If there are any issues at the barrier, simply press the intercom and speak to the team.
