Getting to the airport

The hotel is around 30 minutes from the airport.

On the day of your flight, drop your car off at the Short Stay car park. A member of the team will be at the Purple desk and park your car while you walk to the terminal.

When you get back walk back to where you were met on arrival and your car will be ready for collection.

The postcode for satnavs and a link for what3words will be in your booking confirmation to make your journey easier.

Check in from 3pm, check out by 11am.

Parking

Park overnight at the hotel - it's included in the price. Enter your car reg when you check in.

On the day of your flight, drive to the Short Stay car park to meet your driver - your confirmation email will include directions and a postcode for your satnav.

You'll need to go to the Purple desk and give them your booking confirmation and car keys, as well as your return flight information.

From there, it's a short walk to the terminal while the driver parks your car in a secured car park.

Once you've collected your luggage, walk back to the Short Stay car park to collect your car.

Enjoy dinner in the open lobby restaurant, with locally sourced ingredients making delicious speciality dishes like Chinese style duck leg salad and steak frites. Or enjoy comforting local sausage and mash or chicken, leek and ham hock pie. Vegetarian and vegan options are available, plus indulgent desserts like apple tarte tatin. A meal here costs on average £19.

There's also a great choice to please the kids and under 12's eat free from the special kids menu when they're with at least one full paying adult.

In the Wings Bar & Terrace – 11am to 11pm

Relax with bar snacks, chilled white wine or one of the many beers on tap in the bar and lounge area. There's even a stack of board games to entertain the family! When the weather is good, move out onto the heated outside terrace to enjoy the view.

Breakfast

In The Wings restaurant – 6.30am to 10am weekdays and 7am to 11am weekends

Help yourself to an English and continental breakfast, with a great choice of both cold and hot breakfast choices and eggs made to order so they're always hot and fresh. It costs £16.95 for the full English and continental buffet.

Kids enjoy their own special section with mini cereal boxes and yummy treats like chocolate spread, and peanut butter, plus under 12's eat for free with a full paying adult.

There's also a separate section for any dietary requirements, offering items like gluten-free cereal and bread, plus the use of your own toaster.

Things to do

The hotel has a health club with a heated pool, sauna, steam room, hot tub and a studio gym with cardiovascular fitness equipment and weights. It's free for guests to use and you can book a slot when you check in.

The health club is open Monday to Thursday 6am to 10pm, Fridays 6.30am to 9pm, and 7am to 8pm on weekends.

There's also a beauty salon where you can treat yourself to some pampering. Check with reception for availability and prices.

Grab your caffeine fix from Roots coffee shop in the Bar area – a more sustainable coffee option.

Travelling with your furry friend? Book a dog-friendly room for £25 and they'll get a bowl, blanket and some delicious treats. Collect these at reception.

In August 2023, London's Ultra Low Emissions Zone (ULEZ) expanded to include all terminals at Heathrow Airport. This is part of an initiative to help tackle air pollution.

If your vehicle doesn't meet ULEZ standards, you'll need to pay the daily ULEZ charge when driving through Heathrow – make sure you check before you travel.

Purple Parking doesn't accept cars taller than 2.05 metres. Prices quoted and any bookings made online are for cars only. Vans, lorries, minibuses, caravans, trailers, and mobile homes will incur extra charges.

Please make sure you leave enough time for your chauffeur to check your car for damage. It will only take a few minutes, but if you don't leave enough time, this may affect any claim you later make for damage.

As the car park constantly monitor flights, they will return the car to the terminal you are landing to.
