Our stay at the airport Hotel went smoothly, the booking process was easy and an absolute bargain because we booked early in advance. The facilities were as described although the building is shared with a separate hotel. The staff were helpful and the room was comfortable, clean and modern

Getting to the airport
Holiday Inn Express T4 is directly connected to Terminal 4, which is walkable in around 4 minutes through a covered walkway.
Free London Underground services and shuttles are available from Terminal 4 if you need a different terminal. Both the tube and Heathrow Express go directly to Terminals 2 & 3, where you can change trains to get to Terminal 5. It takes around 20 minutes to get to Terminals 2 & 3, and 30 minutes to Terminal 5.
You'll need to tap on using a contactless or Oyster card to use London Underground services, or you can get a ticket from one of the machines at the station for the Heathrow Express. In both cases, you won't be charged as long as you only travel between the terminals.
Directions and a postcode for satnavs will be on your booking confirmation.
Check in from 2pm, check out by 11am.

If you need it, overnight parking at the hotel costs £25.
Electric Vehicle Charging
The hotel has three Type 2 charging points available for guests. Guests must download the Pod Point app and spaces are available on a first come, first served basis.

If you're looking for more of a fine dining experience, the 2 rosette AA-accredited Urban Brasserie in the Crowne Plaza is for you. The Crowne Plaza is in the same building as the Holiday Inn Express, so you don't have far to go.
It has a contemporary setting and a range of Asian, Mediterranean and modern British dishes. It's around £20 for mains and guests love the great service and quality of food.
Bars
Express Cafe & Bar – 11am to 11pm
Serving soft drinks, beer, wine and spirits. Relax with a glass of sparkling prosecco for £6.50, or enjoy a draught beer for around £5.50.

Express Cafe & Bar – 5am to 10am weekdays and 5am to 11am weekends.
English and continental breakfast are served in the Express Cafe & Bar. Enjoy a hearty hot cooked buffet breakfast and a variety of cereals and pastries. Best of all, it's included in the price.

Guests can use the Crowne Plaza gym which is £10 per day. The gym is open 24/7 and has a range of cardio machines and weights.

Holiday Inn Express T4 with Blue Circle Meet & Greet
On the day of your stay
Drive to T4 any time between 4am and midnight. The car park closes at midnight.
When you're around 30 minutes away from the airport, give Blue Circle a call to let them know. When you reach Terminal 4, head to the meeting point in the Short Stay car park.
You'll need your booking confirmation and return flight information, then hand the Blue Circle team your keys. Your car will be parked for you in a secured car park while you walk to the hotel and check in.

Coming home
Once you've collected your luggage, call the car park to let them know you're ready to collect your car. Walk back to the Short Stay car park and collect your keys from the Blue Circle team and then you're ready to head home.
