Family Holidays in Palma

Family holidays in Palma are the perfect chance to enjoy some quality time together. The weather is stunning, the food is excellent and the beaches are calling your name. Here are some fun things to do together while you're there. Before you head off, remember to book your airport transfers. We can pick your family up at the airport and take you to locations all across Spain.

See marine life

Palma is right on the coast of Majorca, so marine life will be on your mind. Families can visit Marineland Majorca, 19 minutes from Palma, to see some up close. Here there are dolphin and sea lion shows, as well as a huge aviary where you can visit some flamingos and penguins. Closer to home, Palma Aquarium has the chance to see humpback whales, sharks and turtles.

Try some watersports

If your kids are adventurous, Palma's beaches have lots of opportunities for new activities. Stand-up paddling is a favourite – it's like surfing, but not as difficult – and there are companies dotted about who'll teach everyone the basics. As a family, you can also all try kayaking on the coasts' gentle waters.

Visit the beaches

There are beaches galore in Palma, so make time for some lazy days sunbathing, paddling and catching up on a good book. Playa de Palma is a tourist hub with a bustling vibe near to cafés and restaurants. For somewhere a little quieter, Illetas beach has soft sand for making castles and rockpools for exploring.

Go on a boat trip

With such clear, calm waters, Palma's seas are ideal for boat trips. Take the family on a catamaran cruise of the local bays (with an on-board buffet) or go for a family fishing trip to see what you can catch on the open seas.

Travel to Katmandu Park

Katmandu Park is a 25-minute drive from Palma and is known as the friendliest theme park in Europe. Kids and adults can enjoy water rides, 4D cinema experiences and some horror-themed rides for the braver in the family. There's also soft play, mini golf and plenty of places to snack throughout the day.

Whether you're travelling with one child or a whole host of kids, our Palma airport transfers have an option for you. Hire a private car, shuttle or shared bus to transport everyone straight to your accommodation. Make sure to also check out our UK school holidays page, so you can pick the best time to book before you take the little monsters away.
