How does it work?
Once you've made your booking, we email you a booking confirmation. This will contain your unique reference number, details of your car hire provider and where to find the car hire desk when you arrive at your destination. If you're collecting your rental car from Oslo Airport (OSL), then your confirmation will state whether the where the relevant car hire desk is located.
A word about insurance
All our Norway car hire agreements include a collision damage waiver. This means that, in the event of theft or damage, you won't be charged any more than your excess.

On arrival - collecting your Norway rental car
When you arrive to collect your rental car in Norway - either from Oslo Airport (OSL) or from another pick up location, you will need to make your way to the car hire provider's desk or office. Here, a member of the team will check through the paperwork for the car rental agreement with you. There will be a few forms to fill out ahead of being given the keys to the rental car. The car hire representative will also remind you of the fuel policy for the car and how much it should be returned with, as well as whether there is any mileage limit on the hire agreement.
You must ensure you have the following with you when you pick up your hire car:
- Printed email confirmation for each of your journeys
- A full driving licence
- Credit card in the lead driver's name, with the full deposit amount available
- A valid DVLA code
- A valid passport
What happens on your return?
Details of where you need to drop your rental car off to will be included on your booking confirmation. When you return the car, a member of the rental team will check it over before you head off.
