Getting to the airport

A quick 3-minute walk to check-in at the North Terminal.

The hotel is connected to the North Terminal - a 3-minute stroll away through an exclusive indoor walkway. Flying from South Terminal? Just use the walkway and take the free monorail over to the South, it takes about 2 minutes.

If you're travelling by train, the station is on the lowest floor of the South Terminal - from there you can take the monorail over to the North.

Directions and a postcode for satnavs will be on your booking confirmation.

Check in from 2pm, check out by 12 noon.

Parking

Overnight parking at the hotel is available if you need it - it costs £22.50 per car.

If you need parking while you're away take a look at one of our hotel and parking packages - it's often cheaper than booking a hotel and car park separately.

Le Petit Reveur – 6pm to 10pm.

'The little dreamer' has British dishes inspired by classic French cuisine. Enjoy a range of mains including steak, burgers and pizza.

Vivre Restaurant – 6pm to 10pm.

Enjoy delicious dishes in an atmosphere perfect for friends, families and kids. Remember to make a reservation before you arrive.

Vanda Restaurant – 6pm to 11pm.

Something a little different - exquisitely presented Asian dishes in a contemporary setting. There's plenty to choose from including a tasting board if you can't decide!

Children under 5 eat for free.

Bars

La Terrasse – 11am to 11pm

The very best champagne, spirits, beers and a wide range of cocktails and tea. If you're hungry you can grab a bite to eat too.

Breakfast

Continental 5.30am to 10.30am. Full English 6.30am to 10.30am.

A selection of full English and continental options from the a la carte menu. It's £19.80 per adult for a full English and £14 for continental. It's half price for kids under 12 and kids under 5 eat for free with a paying adult.

If you need to check out before breakfast opens, you can arrange a grab and go breakfast with reception the night before.

Things to do

The hotel has a small gym with cardio equipment and weights. It's free for guests to use.

Good to know

The hotel has a cash machine, where you can withdraw your last-minute foreign currency.

On the day of your stay

Drive to the North Terminal where the hotel is. Your booking confirmation will include driving directions and a postcode for satnavs.

Park in the hotel's car park and hand over your keys at the reception desk on the ground floor of the hotel.

A fully-insured driver will move your car to a secured car park close to the hotel for the duration of your holiday.

To get to the South Terminal, use the walkway to the North Terminal and follow signs to the free monorail. It runs every 3 minutes and takes 3 minutes.

Coming home

Make your way back to the hotel through the walkway. Collect your keys from the reception desk and head outside to pick up your car.

If you return early, let the hotel know so they can make sure your car is ready when you get back.

Sofitel with Long Stay Plus parking

Drop your car off at the Long Stay South car park first. Then take one of the transfer buses to the terminal - they take just 5 minutes and run every 10 minutes, night or day. When you get to the terminal, hop on the free monorail to the North terminal, which will take you to the hotel. In the morning, it's just a two-minute stroll to check-in under a covered walkway.

If you're flying from the South terminal, jump on the free monorail again, which runs every 3 minutes, takes just 2 minutes and runs 24 hours a day.

Sofitel with Long Stay North parking

Drop your car off at the Long Stay North car park first. Then take one of the transfer buses to the terminal - they take just 5 minutes and run every 10 minutes, night or day. Then after a two-minute walk, you'll be at the hotel.

Sofitel with Superior room and Maple Meet & Greet

On the day of your stay

Drive to the North Terminal where you will find the Sofitel hotel - you'll find the number and driving directions on your booking confirmation email.

Meet your Maple Parking driver in one of the Approved Operator bays and hand over your keys. Your return parking instructions will be provided at this point.

Your car will be moved to a secured car park up to six miles away for the duration of your holiday.
