Holiday Extras are thrilled to announce that we are now offering our customers parking at Airparks ShortRun Luton Airport. The facility holds the Park Mark - an award given to car parks after they are inspected by police to ensure security is top notch. This award means the car park is reviewed annually to ensure it maintains its high standards, giving you peace of mind that your car is in safe hands whilst you're away. The car park is just 5 minutes away from the airport by transfer bus, and customers won't even need to worry about hunting for a space - the fully-insured drivers take care of that for you.
When you arrive, park in front of the check-in building and register yourself with one of the on-hand staff inside. They'll ask for your confirmation, and give you a ticket - you'll need to keep this somewhere safe for when you get back. Then just hop on the transfer bus - it's included in the price. On your return, the bus runs on demand so just give the car park a ring on the number provided on your confirmation when you're ready to go. Hand in your ticket, pick up your keys and you'll be ready to go.
This is the only one of our Luton Airport car parks with the option to park in a bigger space, so we would recommend this facility for our customers with larger vehicles - the maximum length of a parking space here is 9.6m. We would always advise you to book as far in advance as possible - the sooner you book, the lower the cost.
Good service by quick bus to airport/return and friendly helpful staff. Just look after your parking ticket as it’s quite small, a bigger credit card size would be better.

Need to know
When you arrive a member of ShortRun's friendly team will meet you, check you in and let you know where to park - you won't even need to get out of your car. You'll be given a ticket telling you what to do when you return, so keep it safe as you'll need to show it to the bus driver when you get back. All you need to do is park and keep your keys.
Once you've parked, catch the shuttle bus to the terminal. It runs when needed, 24 hours a day. It takes around 4 minutes to reach the terminal and is included in the price.
When you get back, catch the bus from where it dropped you off - you need to show the driver your ticket and you're away!
Accessibility
The car park has a number of larger bays near reception which are first come, first served. The buses are also wheelchair accessible, but there are steps up to reception.

The small print
Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles or large vehicles) will be accepted at the car park as long as they are under 2.1m, 2m wide and 5m long. If your vehicle is bigger than the maximum (around the size of a Range Rover Sport), take a look at our Larger Vehicles package. The car park can't accept any high-sided vehicles, minibuses, mobile homes, lorries, caravans, trailers or vehicles larger than the maximum.
Early or late? The car park offers a grace period until midnight, at their discretion. Any longer than this you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £20 per day which is subject to change.

Make sure you leave plenty of time if you have lots of luggage, as you'll need to wait for a bus with more space. The bus can't accommodate large sporting equipment, so we'd recommend dropping any off with your passengers at the terminal first, then driving to the car park.
Due to the ongoing redevelopment works at Luton Airport, buses to and from the airport may take longer than normal. We recommend you allow at least an extra hour for your transfer to the Airport particularly at peak times.

When you arrive at the car park a friendly member of the team will check you in and let you know where to park. You park your car yourself, so you get to keep your keys while you're away.
From the car park take the shuttle bus to the terminal. It runs when needed 24 hours a day and takes around 4 minutes to reach the airport.
Returning to the car park
Catch the bus back to the car park from where it dropped you off.
